all these white meh you listed are inventors they’re not necessarily influential... let’s be properly guided

And inventors don't influence? and which one of them did not influence something after their time? Have they not influenced how we live today and beyond just their own race? The whole world has benefited from their inventions. The Nairaland we are posting comments was from programming knowledge invented by someone.

Influential means; having great influence on someone or something.

To me its Micheal Jackson. He is the most popular black man on this earth, from North pole to south pole, Asia, Africa and even Arabia... His face and names is known in places where the likes of Martin Luther, Nelson Mandela, Bob Marley etc are not. His Music, dancing steps and even dressing influenced people all around the world.

Who is this one comparing Buhari to MJ? Go n check the dictionary for the meaning of influence.

The eloquent Adzan or Call to Prayer, which to this day summons at the same hours millions of the human race to their devotions, was first uttered by a Negro, Bilal ibn Rabah by name, whom the messenger of God, Mohammed (may peace and blessings of Allah be with him), in obedience to a dream, appointed the first Muezzin or Crier. And it has been remarked that even Alexander the Great is in Asia an unknown personage by the side of this honoured Negro.

Think about this
A black person calls on you to leave your African way of worship and worship in the way of Arabs, and this is a plus to Africa, how?

Pls can someone tell me why Obama made this list?

The same way you guyz gave him a Nobel Peace price right?

True! Obama doesn't even deserve to be on the list of 1000 greatest black men to have ever lived. Obama was and is a sellout who did nothing for the black community other than surf on our sea of expectations and solidarity to achieve his personal ambition. Well, except for black gays, queers, transvestites and other freaks of nature.

The only name on the list you call and a new born baby recognizes, a very old person at the point of death or anyone in the world be it Chinese, yellow, in the northpole etc is Michael Jackson...a research was made, after Jesus Christ and Prophet Muhammed, his name is the most recognizable in the world
