DrLikita12:I don't.. What i know is that, he has a heart condition which he underwent surgery for. Doctors advised that he stays off football for a year. Tests carried out last week (after the year break) suggest that there was little or no improvement so he was asked to quit the game. |

I do not think we should go all the way fighting the Guineans for a place in the finals if they cheated by fielding overaged players. I see this as a developmental process and should not be taking as a do or die affair. We lost and we go back to correcting some of the mistakes we made which will only make us stronger. I also maintain my stance against running helter skelter for foreign borns to make us stronger. The aim should be to develop and not find developed players especially when we are far off in developing our young talents. The NFF should have spent more time working on how to improve the program than fighting for a final place. |

tbaba1234:Good list but I hope these are not the only foreign players invited to the camp? Noah Okafor should be the prime target. Followed by Mujaid, Deji Beyreuther and Marvin Park. I heard the Bennett brothers will be in camp. |

This guy is ready to play for Nigeria but we have snubbed him until now. Adekanye confirms he is '80%' sure he will make a move to Lazio Diane Poletaeva 5 days ago Corriere dello Sport Bobby Adekanye is on the brink of signing a deal with the Serie A side. The winger will join the Laziale for free due to summer contract expiry. The player confirms he had talks with the director Igli Tare who reassured Bobby has bright future with their club. Adekanye himself believes he has a lot to learn from players like Immobile and Correa. Liverpool winger Bobby Adekanye, 20, has come very close to signing a deal with Italian top flight Lazio. "I have been to Rome, I have spoken with Lazio and they have excellent plans for me. I am interested in the proposal. I spoke with the director Igli Tare, he thinks that I can become a good player and that coming to Lazio could be a good choice for my career. "I'm following all the matches of Lazio. In Serie A I could enhance my qualities because I like to attack. Immobile is a great player, if I came to Lazio we could have a good tune. "I could learn a lot from Correa too, he is another very good player. How close I am to Lazio? Eighty percent. I still have to make the final decision with my agent and my family. Soon you will know." Bobby Adekanye will have a World Class resumé when he arrives at Lazio this summer, some may say he never stayed anywhere long - but the real truth is that his agent & him are smart guys with a good plan and everything so far made sense for them. — Jan Říha (@HonzaRihaftbl) 23 марта 2019 г. Earlier Goal correspondent Neil Jones claimed the deal is 'almost complete'. "Bobby Adekanye's move to Lazio is edging closer," Jones tweeted. "He'll be leaving LFC on a free this summer, and a deal with the Serie A side is almost complete. He has another option on the table but Italy preferred destination." Bobby Adekanye's move to Lazio is edging closer. He'll be leaving #LFC on a free this summer, and a deal with the Serie A side is almost complete. He has another option on the table but Italy preferred destination. — Neil Jones (@neiljonesgoal) March 22, 2019 Numerous sources linked the Nigerian-born Dutchman with Lazio in January but the Italian side denied the rumours then. It appears now the transfer is a reality for the hot prospect who has failed to break through to the first team. He's got ability but he's well off the first team at #LFC and has loads to improve. Needs to go and play, and didn't want to stay without knowing he would get opportunities. — Neil Jones (@neiljonesgoal) March 22, 2019 Adekanye moved to the Netherlands from Nigeria at the age of four and joined the Ajax academy before leaving for Barcelona. After an impressive loan spell at PSV, he joined the Reds in 2015. While his display at Liverpool's U19s and U23s earned him much praise, Bobby has never come really close to the senior squad. It should hardly be a surprise given plenty of attacking options Jurgen Klopp has. https://tribuna.com/en/liverpoolfc/news/3357324/ |

Earthquake3:was he employed to discover talents for you in nigeria or scout for talents? is he a scout or a coach.... those players invited are they not nigerians? i just don't understand this sentiments. foreign born or local groomed....are they not all nigerians? this players listed...were they not discovered..or it is because they are foreign born players? for God's sake this kids are nigerians... you guys are the ones trying to encourage the lazy coach to keep fielding over aged players all in the guise of discovering talents.... please let him do his job...it seems he has woke up from sleep. #nigeria will hardly make progress because of sentiments |

Humility017:There's nothing like sentiments, the U20 coach is basically a scout, his job is not to scoop kids discovered by different people in academies There are millions of kids playing around in different parts of Nigeria, if he cannot scout and harness those talents what is his job? |

Earthquake3:you made this law/clause. never knew you had a copy of his employment letter. please save me those words you put there.... the reason you are thinking this way is because you were not born outside the country or had the opportunity to reside abroad that will demand you live and raise your kids there. you and those kids playing football all over nigeria streets are not more nigerian than this kids... they are nigerians just like you and they've right to play for their country. tribalism and sentiments is our problem in this country |

Humility017:The kids can play for the SE nobody is stopping them But the aim of Cadet coaches is to discover and develop young talents for the first team, Paul Aigbogun has neither discovered nor developed any player, the only thing he did was to scoop those discovered and developing in academies Manu Garba has given us five new talent, Hw many has Paul Aigbogun given? |
