PTDF certainly. However mention why you chose the schools you have chosen. But from what I posted, the helpline person said the panelists would be able to see what you already put up though its their discretion to accept what you bring.

I stated it earlier on, but some folks could not come to terms with me, they seem more organised now, more especially on the issues of awards and pubs. you would discover that you have to upload evidence of your pubs and awards this time, meaning that it might be difficult to reconcile scores if an award presented before the panellist is not uploaded on the portal.

Hmm...that was when I updated mine too but I did it exactly in the afternoon (around 12:00 pm). Maybe there was another strategy they used in fixing the dates of our interview. But anyway, its all good. I pray we'll all be favored IGN.

So mine is by 12pm tomorrow at their headquarter, Abuja.

As I didn't upload my SOP, I will be going with a hard copy and a request to edit my application and upload the SOP. Someone should confirm that the SOP is one page.

I really need advise here, especially from those here who understand the interview/process. I applied last year, went for the interview and my interview went very well. I answered all the questions asked regarding my field of study and I answered them correctly and was allowed to talk about my SOP, they were impressed. I still didnot get the scholarship hence my confusion,(even with my awards and publications)
I am tempted to conclude that the candidates may have been selected in a man know man basis, but not yet as I know I cant approach this weeks interview with a defeatist mindset.
Is there anything else that needs to be shared asides the obvious?
Does anyone here have insider info as to the real selection process and what panelist look out for?
If they are to select 3/4 per state, what really makes 3/4 candidates stand out from the lot, because I believe alot of candidates just like me, have good results, awards/publications and all other credentials that have been requested for...so what really is the game changer - asides from knowing someone within the panel?

There is a diff between 86 and 87. Someone else from your state could have gone with more awards...publications...superb SOP defense and all that is required. So 1 mark really matters. Went last year both fr F-G-C and UK. The panelists were nodding heads like lizards in correspondence to what I was saying but in the end I was "outbeaten". Just do what you did before in a more composed manner.

What's your state of origin? It mostly depends on your state of origin and the competition there in. States like Imo, Delta, Oyo, Osun, Anambra, Kwara, just to mention a few, are very competitive, so you'll have to go extra.
I was also in your plight last year, I pray this year is different for us.
