Is it possible to save like 10,000 euros every year while doing my MSc in Germany?

I really wanna save lots of money, so that even before the end of my MSc in Germany, I don get plenty money for account. I plan to overwork myself during summer holidays and save lots of money.
Education ain't my main reason of planning to go to Germany, making money is my number one reason I wanna leave this shitthole. I wanna visit home after my studies smelling money money before going back to keep hustling for more

If you want to make Money, sorry to burst your bubble DE is the wrong country to come. May US would be a better option.

You have to be careful with the word kill...... In Nigeria, we misuse that word, and most times we try to understand its meaning in context and not its literal meaning, Germans don't. I nearly got my self put in a Psychiatric clinic just because I used the phrase with a kill in it despite the fact I did not mean it. I learnt my lessons the hard way.

Thank you for being among the few ones that speak the truth despite the gender involved.
Most Nigerian men are just woman pleasers always bias in their judgment

Dude, I am not attacking or supporting anyone here, I am just stating my opinion based on what I have experienced. We use the word kill a lot in pidgin, but that doesn't mean we actually mean it. Don't tell me you have not used it b4. Phrases like "I go kill am if I catch am", "meh the job dey kill body sha".

And besides everything shouldn't be about gender.

So far life has been fair to me. So long you don't have any crazy expectations, like saving 10k a year working as a student, then you sure will enjoy DE.

True.

Shebi na English language dey cause all this wahala, Please my brothers and sisters let's not take this issue out of proportion.

Basalt pls I beg of you, kindly clamp down on the insults, it's not really cool bro. dobeespen intentions was not to insult you, but to pass across a strong message to you which in all respect implies that you cut down on your expectations. Hope you act like a gentleman and kindly apologize to her and to all you called names, biko.

My sister dobeespen, please don't take it to heart biko, we sometimes have different views as it relates to usage of English language and that's what exactly played out here. Your comments were a bit harsh if interpreted literally but I know that wasn't the intention though. Please my sister kindly make peace with basalt, let him know you mean no harm. kindly apologize for literally using such words.

And to all, who have been unhappy if there's any word like that, please let me apologize on their behalf. Sorry for all that transpired.

Please lets move on and find better creative ways to make this thread more lively and better. Thanks in all.

Thanks for your post boss, if you go through my comments, you would find out that for every harsh word I used, there was a reason for that.
Check well and you will see that those people were the first to attack me.

But USA student visa is extremely costly.
The only reason I considered Germany in first place is their free education.
After studies and saving some money, I will target moving to USA, Canada, Australia or Switzerland for my PhD.
I heard those countries pay very well (almost double what is paid in Germany ) with lesser tax

The list is for both male and female travellers, choose your gender grin.

I hope the PDF doesn't give you an heart attack.

Turkish airline allows 23Kg*2 and 10Kg*1. You pay (negotiate) for anything above.

The 40ft container doesn't seem like a bad idea tho!

The USA may have lesser Tax, but the standard of living, healthcare, unemployment security I don't think so.
Besides, what is good for the geese may be bad for the gander.
But don't come to Germany with high hopes of raking in thousands of Euro when studying. Can you remove Switzerland from your wish list, I won't advise you to go there as a Student, But should you get a job offer, you can take it. That is IF you get one.

This your list is based on clothes, which I think is actually not so important depending on which semester you are coming.
Clothing:
Jeans: it is cheaper in Nigeria.
Shirts: if you are into shirts, but as for me I am a t-shirt guy
Shoes: for ladies don't come with any high heels, you will end up not wearing it. But something durable with a flat sole.

As for thick socks(wollen) and Thermals, you only need them during the winter Months, and you can buy them cheap here.
Don't buy the Nigerian sippers ohh, you may end up living in a house with slippery laminate. Normal in-door slippers are also not expensive. You can visit the 1€ shop, same applies to head warmer.

FOOD: THIS IS IMPORTANT, unless you are not a food person.
You first three months trying to adjust to the kind of food here won't be funny. Basic things like normal Maggi will be a task buying it in the supermarket.
Try as much as possible to get enough ingredients for your best food. This will help in time of need when things start getting rough, you can always come home and enjoy a nice meal and feel happy and relaxed. Well if you are not into food then you can ignore this and fly in. Then you start eating bread and potatoes because you want to save cost.
