Mumu talk from dumb ethnic champions
Improve yourself and achieve...
Your ‘brothers’ are ruling yet you’ve NOTHING...
People whose ‘brothers’ are not ruling are achieving- building mansions, riding fancy car...
Can you see how dumb you are?
Continue hating... till you kpekus

Again this’s one Nigeria...
Igbos are going nowhere anytime soon... deal with facts

We dont make noise. We are humble so you dont need to know about our wealth (But you already know). Dangote is the richest man yet he doesnt make noise like your drug dealers

Go to Kano and stop Hisbah police. Rubbish!

Oh really ?
So the constitution has legalized Extortion for institutional Touts masquerading as Oyaloja and Babaloja ? shocked

Which part of Lagos State Law or municipal by-laws provide For this particular Extortion Racket ?

Dude, you're first class olodo.
Both iyaloja/babaloja are traditional chieftains appointed by the Oba and approved by state's traditional council. Traditional institutions l are empowered by extant laws to oversea domestic/local affairs as was equally recognised by the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.
Like other chiefs, they are responsible for overall welfare and accountability of local markets.

Likewise, if you feel that a family or set of families have the right to reap from the sweat of other hardworking people, and you call that your culture and tradition, then live with it.
But stop trying to rationalize the forceful subjugation of unwilling victims of your EXTORTION culture.
We live , or should I say, we are pretending to live a modern democracy, where the rule of law and constitution guarantees individual liberty and freedom of assembly.
Sharap there! Which extortion? Who is extorting who?! The way you idiot Igbos think say na una get sense pass and twist talks to paint those you are reaping off bad is just too alarming. Igbos are legitimate 419ers, you are even worse because you don't just reap people off, you still heartlessly rubish them after you've swapped their hard earned fortune. You import fake goods and flood Yoruba land with substandard goods to 419 us and rake in our monies into your account. You then buy our lands with our own Monies that you cunningly raked in and starting forming boss on our people. So many die daily from the fake pharmaceuticals you sell in our Land. Only Satan himself could be this inconsiderate and heartless!
You sell us inferior roofing sheets that quickly turns brown and you still turn around to call us brown-roof republic. Igbos are the most satanic people on Earth. Everybody should verify this: 1inch (18ft length) plumbing pipe is N650 in the East, they refused to supply this to Osun State, rather they supply and sell far reduced substandard 1inch (13ft) plumbing pipe to us at same 650. Go to Aba and then go to Ile ife to compare this discovery. This is same for other things they supply to SW region. Short-changing and ridiculing the only people that truly accommodate them. Igbos' ill-gotten wealth. If you see snake, see Igbo. You better quickly kill the Igbo first because they are more dangerous than snakes. Yorubas' eyes has open, we are starting Businesses and taking back the conttol of our Economy.

Njemanze and Owerri Markets. Market Masters not new! That’s what The Igbo got when they stirred up primordial sentiments in their hosts! Baba Chinua Achebe was right about the Igbo when he said - “I will be the first to concede that the Igbo as a group is not without its flaws. Its success can and did carry deadly penalties: the dangers of hubris, overweening pride, and thoughtlessness, which invite envy and hatred or, even worse, than can obsess the mind with material success and dispose it to all kinds of crude showiness. There is no doubt at all that there is a strand in contemporary Igbo behavior that can offend by its noisy exhibitionism and disregard for humility and quietness.”

No! You still don’t get it! It is a measure meant to send the message loud and clear that “Lagos is a no man’s land” is a mantra that’s as insensitive as it is unwise! Call Owerri, Aba, Onitsha et al a no man’s land and your could lose your head! The Igbo will do well to have a long term strategic plan to replicate their achievements in business in the SE and finally relocate there. The SW will have no choice but to go to the SE to do business with the ICT Professionals where no Babaloja breathes down their necks!

Since you're the genius here, kindly explain the role of Iyaloja and babaloja in a modern constitutional democracy, except for EXTORTION ?
By your cognitively dissonant logic, your Iyaloja and babaloja should also be overseeing Ikeja City Mall, other local Malls . In fact, they should go a bit further and oversea Customs street, venue of the Nigerian Stock exchange.
Empty Hypocrite . You claim modernity and sophistication when it suites your opportunistic whims, and then revert back to so-called tradition when it offers you an opportunity for unlimited EXTORTION.

Dude, why are you embarrassing your parents?
NSE is a national assest, beyond state's purview.
The state government/StateHOA makes laws governing the traditional institutions, thus, empowering traditional custodians be in charge of affairs within the authority of the state.
Why do you think they are being installed and given the staff of office by the governor of a state?
If the laws empowered they take charge of all state's controlled markets, so be it.
Go back home & ask your parents if there are no chiefs in charge of market affairs in your homeland. Maybe your chiefs are just palace mannequins only useful at breaking kolanuts during palace meetings.
Ignorance is bliss.

My dear friend, tell the truth and Shame the devil.
The Iyaloja and babaloja, even in Yoruba tradition is a
feudal monarchy system that existed to subjugate, extort and exploit market women by proxy.
This medieval feudal fckery has no place in a 21st century FREEMARKET system.

Make your simple choice: Medieval Feudalism or Modern FREEMARKET system.

Having one foot in both makes you an opportunistic freeloader.

Is collection of levies medieval or feudalistic?
Aren't we paying taxes/levies to both the federal and state?
In advanced countries, levies are being paid to local county.
It's not your faults but failure of Nigeria to practice true federalism whereby local autonomy exists.
