A young man based in Warri, Delta state - has got himself trending online after deciding to pull a big prank in a bid to propose to his girlfriend.

The soon-to-be groom identified as Elijah, staged a fake police raid by armed uniformed men who stormed their apartment for an "arrest".

After bringing out the house occupants, the 'police' ordered all of them to kneel down. Her boyfriend who pretended to be assaulted by the police, finally knelt down and proposed to the girl who was very shocked that she had to run away after briefly hugging his friends.

Congratulations to them.

By the way, I think this is lack of creativity... You don't go about fooling yourself or presenting yourself like a thief in order to propose.

There are far more better and creative ways to do that.

-You can take her to the zoo in Benin and pop the question to the cheering giraffes looking at you guys happily.

-You can also take to a bolè (roasted plantain) and fish joint at Warri in the evening...

-Or better still, take her to any leisure park or Fast food like AJ or Sizzlers at Ekpan, sink the ring into the cup of ice cream.

It must not be "Police Arrest" all the time.
