According to Jewish rite and tradition which I'm a strong adherent, kissing someone's feet may dignify total submission and unprecedented loyalty to the person. Today across east and south, Nnamdi kanu has been our saviour. Join me to appreciate him for his kindness by kissing Nnamdi kanu feet. 2 Likes 3 Shares

Notasyouthink:That's being insultingly mischievous. Yoruba prostrate to great elders, it's their culture. It has nothing to do with reverence. Yoruba children don't stand straight and say hi, when greeting their seniors in age. Further more, if you or you friend is planning on marrying a yoruba woman, you need to practice doing at least 30 press ups, you wi prostrate tire in front of the parents and family. Now explain why does anybody would prostrate for kanu, even his seniors in age, when prostration is alien to igbo culture? Igbos don't even prostrate for their kings and traditional rulers. 5 Likes |

Frankdoz29: Is Afonja supposed to be some sort of insult? I just don't understand. You guys are reinforcing the belief that you culture shows no respect for elders. Even Oyinbo people that is believed not to have culture of respect teach their children to respect elders. 2 Likes

wirinet:So you don't know that you people are being insultingly mischievous for lying and making mockery of the picture where a man prostrated for Kanu?? Igbos are a very difficult race to understand. You as a yoruba person can never understand the way Igbos behave and reason unless you're Igbo. Most Igbos found Kanu worthy of their respect and loyalty because Kanu has done and is still doing what the people that parades themselves as Igbo elites and leaders cannot do. |

Frankdoz29: Explain further, what was the warnings advice your supreme leader gave concerning Afonja? That you should leave their land , like a kind of travel advisory? That you should not buy or sell to a yoruba man or you should not interact whatsoever with a Yoruba man? How is Yoruba comparable to Boko Haram? Have Yoruba Muslims killed igbos in yoruba land or bomb igbo Christians? About tribal marks, many tribes in Nigeria including igbos and in fact fact Africa have tribal marks. It's not restricted to Yoruba. I have Itsekiri tribal marks. It was a form of group, clan or tribal identification, especially during the civil war. 3 Likes 1 Share |

wirinet:afonja or Yoruba Muslim are the originators of hate. They hate Yoruba Christians counterpart. They constitute envy and violence knowing fully well they have lost Lagos to Igbo's. Why are Yoruba Muslim pained because Igbo's now own Lagos? |
Re: Why I Want To Kiss Nnamdi Kanu's Feet by wirinet(m): 8:43am On May 02, 2019 |
Notasyouthink: As you said igbos are difficult to understand collectively. It's difficult to get a consensus on any cultural practice. Before now, it was said that igbos are egalitarian and an Igbo man bows to no one, even a king. An anambra man that married my first cousin refused to wear wrapper during the traditional wedding in warri and vehemently refused to kneel down, because he said anambra prince do not wear wrapper or bow to no one. Now here on nairaland, we have igbos saying you bow and kiss the feet of a fellow man because, they found him worthy of respect. It's confusing. |

wirinet:no biafran tribe have tribal mark. Tribal mark in Nigeria is exclusive to Yoruba Muslim and core Hausa/Fulani north. Igbo's and real Yoruba Christians don't bear such awkward mark. Ask your self, why prominent Yoruba pastor like adeboye, oyedepo don't bear such mark? |
