I have a 2.2 and I was invited for the interview. Most of those that were invited are actually 1st Class graduates. God's grace will see me through the very stiff competition.

I did both interviews last year but I didn't make the final list for any of them after very commendable interview sessions. 2019 will sure be different for me by God's grace.

Based on my experience, the O level grading is true, cos the guy who computed mine took his time to check them well, and he was computing on the screen, and giving feedback to the second interviewer beside him. And the awards the lead interviewer told me cos i asked him. He said maximum of four awards and one publications is okay. The journals are graded based on impact factor. Its possible for one to submit two journals and not still get the full 5 marks. And another can submit just one journal and still get complete 5 marks. I don't know for the SOP and Class of degree, but I know the marks will vary for different grades.

Yea. They do invite 2.2 with relevant industry experience.

Wow, 30 marks for O-level, that's kind of much now.

Basically for someone that has all C's with probably a B in his/her result is not on the competitive edge compared to someone that has all B's and A's because, the gap is very wide.

I did mine without printing the sop. They have the sop you uploaded on the site. If you didn't upload it then you have to submit a printed copy. Don't go and waste your money to print 5 copies. When I did the interview, I saw people's sop as a waste on the table.

Don't discourage him, it is a centre issue, some centres will read from your profile and interview you, while others will require for your type-written sop/proposal to check for correspondence. In my centre at Uniport, people were running around to print their sop, because the interviewers requested so, even in the middle of the interview, off-course you know how dever-stating this could be. there was this guy who could not reproduce his sop, even when the panellist gave him the opportunity to do so, he claimed he wrote it off hand, directly into the system without reserving a copy for himself. Even when the panellist asked him to go and print it out from his portal, it was still one story or the other. So, in this case, how do you want the panellist to be convinced that this particular candidate wrote his sop by his own hand? off-course it's difficult, if not impossible to believe. On a nutshell, I would advise you go with copies of your sop, it costs nothing to reproduce. I rest my case for now!

It seems you didn't clearly understand the first clause of my advice ---> "To be on the safest side,..." Oga, the way you were interviewed is different from that of others, even at the same interview centre. On my own interview date, some of the applicants, who came with just a copy came out, after their interview, to tell others yet to go in to go in with about 3-5 copies of the SoP, even if you uploaded yours. Mind you that every interview group (Engineering, Environmental, Computing, etc) have different number of people making up the panel. For my group, I met 3 people as the panel and I came with 4 copies of my SoP, and I handed everything to them, although they gave it back to me after the interview. This is not about "wasting money", I see it as more of being on the safest side. Little things like this could mean a whole lot to the panel. More so, in some centres, secondary school awards were accepted, while they were rejected (during my own interview) in my centre for my group. So, referring to the person that asked the question, you can now draw your conclusion from this.

So in this case, when it seems like a imbalance, that part comes out...

For propaganda, everyone is busy saying this is applicable and that is not applicable like they are part of the PTDF team, thus creating tension...
So, bottom line even to you asking about every full stop, if u r yet to be interviewed, study your proposal and the "female thing" Ur mouth and what you say is your power... Nothing else, except of course you hold a different interpretation
