Its all your fault bros. Its advised that before going out in the morning make sure to check your car and confirme its in good condition. If you had check you'd have known your extra tire is bad and fixed it. In that case you wouldn't have damage your new tire. Take it as a lesson always check your vehicles before moving out. Car wey work perfectly today fit disappoint you tomorrow.

Hello all. I've been following this thread lately. I would like to drive on the taxify platform from time to time. I've had a check engine light on my dashboard for a long time. Would this affect the vehicle inspection process? The car drives well and is in good condition to the best of my knowledge.

No it won't. Just make sure your AC, seat belts, and radio is functioning properly. And also, not too many dents

I'm exhausted, like sleeping for the rest of the week... Yesterday I was joking in my mind like this work don tire me, my ears are not mine again, things girl's says on phone to question they ask "how do I smell? Does it look like I've smoked? Smell it" Frown face* what's my own now... Can make one have tummy upset.

After a good outing yesterday, around 10pm, got a trip going to ikeja from VGC, happy me, prayer got answered. Just few miles 2 approach 3MB, I don't know what punched my tyres (few weeks old), came down to check, need to change tyre. Open boot, no air in spare tire, had to manage and destroy the tyre to Yaba to have it fix. I woke this morning to realised spare is bad, had to get another tyre, spending around 6k. Head on to Ikorodu this morning, notice steering got hard to turn around the road that leads to Ijede, serpentine belt slipt into 2 (one of the Boris in pulley), had to fix that, buy new belt, spending close to 14k today

It is well.... Profit of 2days gone in a day, it ain't easy, tomorrow is another day

Sorry about the loss sir. At least we've learnt something from you. Do try to check to make sure your car is in good condition next time. Have a profitable "rest of the week".

OK
If car was parked for few days and after moving it for the first time, you noticed this, it will stop after driving for some mins (it has happened to me before). It is a sign that the power steering pump is not perfect.
But if it persists for hours or days and it is very hard to steer, you need to fix it asap.

Sadly, we are too busy and time concious in this part of the world that we hardly have the time to do all this routine checks in the morning. Come to think of it, It could have happened to anybody no matter how down to earth you are with checking of these things. What about when ur Kazeem forgets to return back your wheel spanner or jack after work and along the way you have a flat, so invariably it's not always as a result of human error or negligence. It happens when it wanna happen.

I doubt I can start early on Suns o. Maybe I can push for 10am if wife allows me to go out at all. It has always been a struggle to work on Suns even if I stay home all week till Sun, madam go insist Suns are for her. She go say I can go out all other days but Suns grin

I will try one more Sun, if I can't make up to 18k gross between 11am & 11pm, then I no do again!
I don't give myself targets on Sundays. Anything I make is good. I wake up normal, drop wifey after church around 09:30. Play around the house for like an hour, and hit the road. Once it is 5, na aos get me so. Except if on a trip; even if it is Epe, I will be doing pick and drop at major bus stops till I get to berger. I've noticed that everything is sweet to do on Sundays.

See am... Different strokes for different folks. My own off day na monday and Wednesday, madam will go to the movies... Sometimes I use agidi do morning till 12 and then shut down for her on those days. Saturday and Sunday are usually used to make my own share having made my rent with the weekdays. I target 15k after fuel on both days to close out the week. Mind you all my daily expenses come out of my earnings so what I have at the end of the week is banked.
Fact is some weeks you'll clean out easy, some others you'll struggle. In the end everything evens out. No job will make you a millionaire overnight so its irrational to expect that this one will. If you are able to bank 80k-100k after daily expenses in a month I don't think that's such a bad thing.
Boss you're missing

Abeg make una help me. my car Honda civic 2006 has been behaving funny lately. Car becomes very very heavy on the ground and sluggish when ac is on and the fans are working but lightens up as soon as thermostat stops the fan and becomes heavy again as soon as fans starts working again. This issue gets worse in slow moving traffic and I hv to match down the throttle very well most times for the speed to increase. My mechanic has checked plugs and coil and fuel pump serviced but it persists.
Rpm flunctuates and when it goes below 500 the car will want to off when idle or in traffic.
