I am having a similar issue too, I bought my infinix hot note 5 last year February and suddenly this year the screen goes blind from time to time seriously Infinix is crap

Mind u ...I a big fan of xiaomi but mostly Huawei but am buying the Samsung a50 because of the sleekness and display but then I saw realme 3 pro and redmi note 7 pro.......
Confusion wan finish me here ....
And am still typing from an infinix hot 6 go edition.....

I think the go edition is better than the 2 gb ram because the 2gb ram after 5 months developed a lot of issue.......
But the ads in infinix and the stupid phone master is so useless ....the display looks ordinary and plain...
And the speaker has deteriorated....but ba3 still good small........

the front camera has a screen flash that takes clear selfies even in the night.
