Investigation indicates that the current Governor of the Central Bank of Nigerian, CBN, Godwin Emefiele may be on his way out as inside sources has revealed that efforts by the CBN governor to hang on to power for a second term in office may not yield result.

It would be recalled that Emefiele’s tenure at CBN ends next month June, while stakeholders and policy experts are divided on the possibility or otherwise of his re-appointment.

Words reaching our news desk from sources within the Presidency said Emefiele’s case may be a closed one as work is at an advanced stage by the federal government to shop for his replacement.
