- know your onions and be very confident. Because questions will be asked as per your current job role and what you know about the role you applied for. Keep chipping in what you know about the job function as it applies to the company employing. Go back and read the job requirements for the role you applied for. My two cents �

It was acutally two stages. The first stage they call you in and ask general quesions. Like how you relate with colleagues, where you work presently. Not really deep. Then after that, some of us where asked to wait behind. Then a consultant interviewed us one on one. I left there 8pm. This was the technical part cos I applied for investment analyst. Tough questions. Then he asked salary expectations.

There are different roles. 500k cannot be a bench mark for all the roles with years of experience. Why not go through with the process and negotiate when the time comes. If they can match your request, they will, if not, you move on to something else. My thoughts.

i even heard it could be less. They are just pension fund administrators. They don't pay anything close to Total E and P

Let's not even start debating on whether the salary is worth it or not. I have researched extensively on this company. I have people who even crossed from Total E&P to take employment at TOTAL CPFA.
(am not saying they pay better but it must mean something....) And whilst comparing TOTAL CPFA to other pension administrators let's bear in mind that in Nigeria there are only 6 CPFA(( closed pension fund administrator) . Let's even leave salary matter some job changes are not always about the money.

I've not gotten an email to know if am successful or not. Though I had my screening test in PH, I don't know if anyone has gotten success email or am I the only one remaining ?

We didn't do screening but aptitude test and was in Lagos

The 2-3 Total E&P staff working in Total CPFA are only on secondment. Of course, when you second someone to another company, their working conditions remain the same. So, except you're seconded from Total E&P, your pay as a Total CPFA staff is not in same level with someone who works with Total E&P. Of course, you return to Total E&P after your secondment.

This recruitment is for Total CPFA staff.

Nah. Even bank workers with 10 years experience earn up to 500k.

They pay better than banks.

I don't expect the pay for the roles with experience of 8+ years to be less than N1m.

Maybe its not the same purpose. But I knw what am saying. I was invented for a selection test on 27th at total in PH. I don't know if I'm not successful or not because I've not heard of any successful candidate after the test .

yours should be Total E and P. Ours is CPFA

This kind interview, am still trying to understand.
While others took quite a while, mine was sharp sharp.

well, maybe not all positions required two stages . Just saying mine was two.

My interview was in two stages. First was a scenario based interview and the second stage was technical as regards the role I applied for.
