I took in a month after my wedding. It was a stress free pregnancy journey as if I wasn't pregnant
At 37 weeks, I started bleeding which after the scan Dr
. said there is no issue of concern.


On Monday 6th, at about 9 pm I started having severe pelvic pain as if I were to pee and poo at the same time and anytime it comes I reach to the loo but just few drops of urine will come out.

As the frequency increased, dh insisted that we head to the hospital against my wish of waiting till morning. Getting there, after examination the nurse asked me whether I wanted to give birth at home? This was happening around 11pm.

Contraction was now coming on and off and I was placed on IV. Menh that was something else. The two nurses were puking hand inside me to check and won't tell me how I was progressing. Was later asked to enter favour room and was given injection on my thigh which made me vomited everything in my system.

After much ado, they raptures the membrane and I went to the other side and returned. After four pushes with a cut bobo came out screaming. The stitching is another bad experience. I asked them to give me shot down there that will make the place numb but they claimed that the second injection given to me on the other thigh was for that purpose but I knew they were lying anyways.

The time of birth was some minutes past 3 am. Mad people the wall clock inside there wasn't working in a Military hospital ooo.

In all these I return all the Glory to the Most High God.

These journey won't be this fun without you all my amazing mamas, may the Lord bless you all.

After the 4 month which is their first appointment and your edd falls in that month, which other appointment is there again? You should try and verify from another general hospital or register in a private hospital.

re the bolded, a doctor has no right to withold any information about your baby from you. That is unprofessional behaviour

FTM's don't feel kicks as quickly since they don't know what to look our for. If the movement you feel is like fluttering, then that's it. If you have any concerns you can go and do another scan with a professional who will also tell you you baby's sex if you want to know

Other mamas will come and suggest hospitals in the area for you

Well I read on this thread that some hospitals have it as a policy not to disclose baby's gender. I think I read about one Catholic hospital on this thread, they won't tell because they don't want you to go and abort the baby if it's not your preferred gender

I also read about the NHS UK maternity units no longer disclosing gender because they had gotten it wrong a lot of times and people were beginning to sue them left right and centre

What would be weird is if a sonographer refused to disclose gender.

I told the nurse that it's my delivery month, and she said there is nothing she can do.
