1. There is no best time to apply. Its Summer Application Season (Peak Period), so apply 90 days to your travel date.

2. For the Insurance, kindly ensure that you get it from the companies recognized by the Embassy.

3. Justify the purpose of the Visit by booking for a tour like L'Open Tour or free ones like Sandeman's Walking Tour.

4. Don't forget to book your hotel preferably in City Centre or around Gare du Nord or Sacre Coeur Area. If you decide to pay, consider hotels that allow free cancellations.

Goodluck

Please Portugal visa, how many months copy of statement of account can been printed

Congrats on your admission! Nice one.

The cost of living in Paris depends on the district per sè, as some district are more expensive than others but generally, as a student, it is better you apply for accommodation at Cité Universitaire or since you are on a scholarship, you can apply for a CROUS accommodation through Campus France.

Accommodation with Cité is about €500 - €680 per month depending on the type of room (Single room/Studio) while CROUS is between €400 - €600 also depends if it is shared or a studio.

Paris is a beautiful, calm and artistic city; if you don't look for trouble, trouble won't look for you. You meet all kinds and "not smiling" is a thing. So when someone tells you "Bonjour" with no smile, it is normal.
The metro is always crowded in the morning and night with slight delays at time.

Nevertheless, your 1 year in Paris would be worth it!

Thank you very much for your response. You are indeed very gracious. I will apply through CROUS and it will be through the school. The application form for housing will be made available at the end of this month. Rent is from 248 euros to 450 euros per month depending on the square meter. As a Nigerian and Ibo guy, you should know the one I will choose, Lol. I also do not know when I will apply for a visa, as notification has been sent to me about selection, but I am yet to get my admission letter. I know that I will apply soon. Thank you very much once again.

Also, I graduated with 2:2, do you think I stand the chance to be admitted into the programme? please, anybody with better info as regards this issue is welcome to contribute.

My brother, I do not want to demoralize you. It will be very difficult for your grade This is because, people with over- excellent application will apply, and some programs can have over 1000 applicants each for perhaps 20-25 openings. However, nothing is impossible with God. I am a christian and I believe in the power of grace or some may call it luck. My advice is this, seek for valuable experience like research, write exams like TOEFL, GRE to boost your portfolio. Spread your tentacles even to US and Canada schools. I wish you the very best of luck.

Good morning all,

Please I have 2 questions to ask concerning my visa application and documentation.

1. I filled the visa form online, at what point will I pay for the visa? Is it at their office?

2. Am I submitting the original documents or photocopy? If photocopy, is it safe to go with only photocopy?

Thanks!
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Damselglo: 9:56am On May 06, 2019
You will pay at their office, go with both photocopy and original, although it's photocopy that will be taken from you. All the best
