Didn't You See How Bad The Network Was On Her Battery Graph??
Nothing Is Wrong With Her Battery TBH![/quote

Forget about the network ish, the battery performance needs an update. I have similar experience too either the network is good or not.

I can see that it took your phone 41m to get to 94%. You can't conclude that the battery is not good enough. Sometimes, the battery usage is not evenly spread on the percentage count. What you should do is observe the usage up till like 20% and study the discharging trend. That way, you can understand how your battery works.

Also know that Redmi 7 has a less powerful processor and just HD display, so you can't compare the power usage to that of RN7.

Just observe. I believe some updates will still be pushed to fix the battery issue, so that bugs can be fixed and the battery life extended.

I'm not really complaining it just that I've been using redmi 7 for a week now with the same network and couldn't help noticing the difference, especially when it dropped 1 % after I powered it on. I understand better now.

It's not working with any other charger or PC. Where can one get a reputable means of fixing?
jboixxx:

Have you tried any other charger? Can you connect with your PC? Either be ready to change the charging panel completely or the microUSB.

It scratches and since it's glass, it can break. Forget the gorilla glass ish.

I have deep scratches on mine already, one on the front and one on the back couples with minor light scratches. Tho i did scratch keys on it on purpose with a lot of force.

I got a slightly visible scratch on it and some other minute scratches that are not really visible, despite being careful and not putting it in my pocket often. I was forced to get a screen protector. Now the display is not as sharp as it was without the protector sad

It's been long I used a screen protector (those days when all those thin plastic protectors were still in vogue)

Going by this thread alone, one can easily discover Nigerians spend so much on phones yearly and these manufacturers know so they roll out new phones every other month. I joined the note 5 AI craze late last year and between that time and now, there has been poco, max 3, note 6pro, redmi 7, note 7, note 7pro mi 9, mi 9se (i am sure I missed some) and it is not even up to 6 months yet. By July another set will be rolled out and folks will start selling these phones that are the bomb now. And we are saying there is no money..... SUPER STORY

Guys I've been trying to login to my Google account but it just keeps saying checking info.
I don't think service is the issue because I've been able to watch youtube videos. What could be the problem?

It's not about manufacturers predicting the spending patterns of Nigerians. It's about staying relevant and competing for market share among rival phone manufacturers

Get a quality screen protector and you will see the difference. Chyi brand comes to mind, a lil bit expensive but it's a superb brand.

which launcher and theme?

For Non Xiaomi Users , can launch this theme on your phone for MIUI experience, available on all devices with Android 4.1 or higher. But it is not the official MIUI launcher, it is a highly customizable, clean, MIUI look launcher with the App Drawer. https://www.apkmirrorapk.com/mi-themes-app-apk-download.html

Nah, you won't.

But then, the screen doesn't have an oleophobic coating. Na correct fingerprint magnet.

I dislike finger smudges. That's another reason to get a good screen protector anyway.

Las las, I'll remove the protector if I'm not comfortable with it.
