My Kuroiler Birds From Day Old by jidestroud(op):
Compliments of the season once more.

Goodness, grin.

Modified

Having explored a few aspect of farming, I will be taking another step into raising poultry birds for Kuroilers production on a mini scale. So, I have made preparation for the incoming day old chicks (50 precisely).

Cost of Buying: N9,500
Transportation: N1,000

Chunkun starter feed: N3,700
Drinkers (4) @250 : N1,000
Feeding trays (3) @ 200 : N600

Charcoal: N2,000
Earthen pot: gifted

Glucose : N200
Apple Cedar Vinegar N3,500
Aloe vera juice: Homemade

Biosecurity gadgets:
Slippers: N150
Nose mask: N500
Izal: N300
Hand wash: 250

I wouldn't mind inputs from experienced poultry farmers.

Thanks

Using 2 200watts bulb in dat box is too much. At least one should be ok.

I will be using one in each compartment. Since the house is divided into two layers; top and bottom. Except you are suggesting one can serve top and bottom?

Weldone boss.
I think its Lasorta sir not lusola.
And the administration seems too apart, you might want to adjust to be 1st and second dose at 2 weeks interval, preferably 2nd and 4th week.

I.e gumboro 7th day (1st dose)
Lasorta 14th day (1st dose)
Gumboro 21st day (2nd dose)
Lasorta 28th day (2nd dose)

I'm sincerely following this, like every other of your post.
More greese to your elbow sir!

since d box is divided in2 two. One 200watts bulb cnt serve d two. Hence, use 60watts bulb for each compactment. I used a 100 watts bulb for a small cage like urs. I changed 2 60watts bulb. Even wit 60 wats , i need 2 off it at times due to 2much heat.
