Twitter Handle, @Dwitters, had protested the destruction of roads in Ibadan by Telecommunication companies. That thread was published on Nairaland here:

https://www.nairaland.com/5116657/ibadan-residents-protest-telecom-companies

A few days ago, @Dwitters passed through the same neighborhood roads to find them fixed. He has hereby opened another thread to thank the authorities who endured this happened.

It should be noted that this is about the first time such repairs would occur in Ibadan.

shocked

Nairaland never gives thus, never effect change in a society. They never donate nor allow funds to be raised for a just cause rather allow a flood of irrelevants to cast shadows on a bright.

Nice one. Maybe we've got to start posting pictures on social media, if that will give these lousy leaders a push

I doubt.
Normally they leave after laying the cables for which they dug the ground in the first place.
I have witnesses such countless times.

Good job!

On one side, I'm happy that our government is gradually opening up to the voice of the masses via social media.

On the other side, a minor road repair in this day and age of groundbreaking technological advancement is like a needle in a haystack.

Still, I'm grateful. We are waking up from slumber. 9ja is the only country we have.
