Good morning mama's, I want to ask the following questions. I wil be glad if I get responses. Thanks.

1. My 8weeks old baby nose is always blocked (from birth). He cries atimes and he is always rubbing the nose. I took him to d hospital, they gave him drugs but the nose is still blocked. I see dried catarrh Inside his nostrils every day. Please, what can I apply to make breathing easier for him?

2. My breastmilk doesn't hold my baby so he is on formula. His poop is always hard and he cries and struggles whenever he wants to poop. I feel his pain everytime he poops. Dr said I should give him water but he coughs and chokes on water whenever I give him. What can I do to make his poop soft?

3. What cream, soap and powder can I use for him?. He is 8weeks old and fair in complexion.

4. It's been 8weeks I had my baby via CS. I was cut horizontally cos my baby wasn't lying properly and since then I still look preggy. I'm depressed cos fellow women body shame me. I don't even want to go out anymore cos pple laugh at my belle. Please, what and what can I do or take to have a flatter belle. I need help cos I'm not happy at all. Please.

5. My incision has healed, should I stop applying spirit? The Incision is not flat, I was told to apply Shea butter on it. Can I rub Shea butter on the cut?

1. Use saline water, it will dissolve the catarrh, then u can suck it out. Or get baby otrivin. Do steam inhalation: put hot water in a bowl, add a drop or two of silverbird in it, carru your baby nd let someone cover ou both with a blanket. Also u can apply a drop of silverbird on his bib.

2. Ensure you mix formula according to the instruction on the tin. Water should be yout bestfriend now. You can try giving him warm water first thing in the morning and try not to allow him stay for long without pooing. Allow him poo everyday. I used to dip cotton bud in enough vaseline and insert in my baby bum tp ease poo.

3. I use boots soap. I wont advice johnsons, cussons or nycil. You can try sebamed or aveeno( pple here have testified). At that age, i used olive oil, then later coconut oil. You dont need powder except agnesia for days of heat rashes or any prickly heat powder.

4. Shame on the women for shaming you. We women are really our own enemies. I didnt have cs but even that took long time for my baby to go down. Those with experience will say more or use the search button.

5.no idea. Use search button too. Im certain it has been discussed previously.

I think you can. I got from Liftedhands so you can ask her. Like i said, a combination of things is what is working for me. I took Aju Mbaise from week 1 to week 5 by which time my waist was 39. I have stopped taking it and my belly is still going down. What you eat is a major contributory factor. Also google core exercises for post partum mum's. They are gentle exercises involving using your stomach muscles to breathe so as to strengthen them. 10mins of those exercises everyday is enough and with a good grade waist cincher, you would definitely see improvements.

Wow! Thanks so so much for the detailed response mama. I'm grateful. Thank you. How do you go about the steam inhalation? My friend said silverbird is not good for babies, that it affects their lungs but I have at home.

Can I still take Aju mbaise cos my monthly flow is fully back?.

She maybe intersex. Her testosterone hormones maybe on the male spectrum side. She should see a specialist gyneacologist. Not all these half baked ones. She should also read up on what it means to be intersex.

Yes, from those selling babies' stuffs.

Of course, it's strictly for babies self from a day old till you get tired of using it.

That's what we use as family cream.

OK ma'am. Thanks so much.

Wow he doesn't really seem to like anything. Just keep trying different tastes sha. If he doesn't seem to like sweet food, then try sour or bland. Pap with crayfish and no milk. Mashed Irish potatoes. He's 6 months so id assume you're just starting. It would take a while for him to get used to and for you to know what he likes. So if he takes 4 spoons of any food, count it as a victory for now and still breastfeed him as often as possible.
okay, thanks a lot.

mix the tribotan with Vaseline or any cream before using it for your baby. He has a sensitive skin. Once the rashes clears off, just let his skin breath. No cream for a while

Alright mama. I will give it a try and see how it goes. Thank you.

No seal how?
Do you mean the outer seal had been tampered with or there was no inner foil seal. Which of the seals in the pictures was missing?
I don't use cow and gate, but read the container to make sure the formulas she bought is still for a 3 month old.

Though body differs, try exercising to burn off calories and push Tommy in,use Google to find exercises for after cs.
Breastfeed babies feed every two to three hours, you can express out little of the fore milk,so baby can get more of the hind milk cos breastfeeding helps with post cs healing,by contracting the womb,
Sitting down to wash clothes, help abdominal muscles too.
Make it a priority to be active, less carbs, more proteins and vegetables, liquid diet.
Good luck, even if your tummy is flat, you can be body shamed, don't let it get to you.
Delivery through vaginally is not the only criteria for flat tummy.
There was a post, you mentioned using powder on baby, stop it totally and watch the catarrh.
Shea butter or coconut oil is ok for baby.
Try any soap you like based on reviews on thread.

Alcohol and fragrance free soaps are good for babies, but no matter how good the soaps are they still have ingredients in them that strips out moisture from the baby's skin, thereby leaving the body dry.

Everyday use of this soap causes the baby's body to dry out. 5 months old baby can't play as hard as a 2 years old. That's to say your baby's skin is clean, only water will do.

I have been using one sabamed soap on my baby since she was 3 months, i'm still using that soap ( it's remaining small sha)

My first child had reoccurring dry skin because I used soap morning and night to bathe him.

My daughter I bathe with water everyday but I use soap 2 times in a week. Her still is so fine, no rash or eczema.

Just minimise the way you use soap on your baby and watch his skin. Ori, coconut and palm kernel oil is the best.

Also reduce chemical when it comes to your baby. I use pure water to bathe her, so I don't come close to savlon.
