You’re asking about the ‘In the last 5 years’ question right? The question is simply asking if you’re a skilled trader i.e. if you belong to any of those NOC’s listed. You already know your NOC. The answer is simply no.

Ok. Thank you! You just saved me from making mistakes.

Good morning,

Please I am about to open an acvo[ht with WES. I saw a link for an academic records request form. Please should I print the form, fill my section and give it to my school to fill and submit with my transcript?

Is it necessary?

Secondly, I need a confirmed source for waec verification. I am very busy and may not have the time to go to waec office. Please kindly recommend someone who can do this for me.

Thanks.

Aunty biko no vex. I have another question. I've gotten to the point of education history. Should I just include those verified by WES or I should add all others even though they are neither Canadian education nor verified by WES? Thanks a ton!

Hi everyone, its been a looooong time.

Does anyone have any experience with a spouse or PA being in the military or police force? A friend is married to a military guy and is thinking of applying under express entry but is worried about the application being flagged for security clearance.

Please help.

Enter those verified by WES which you’re claiming points for.

Are you filling your profile post ITA?

Thank you! Pre ITA.

Also, about work experience. Should I include only the ones I'm claiming points for or every job I've done. Thank you.

Cc: All the Elders. I'm still at the pre- ITA stage filling my profile.

Thank you.

@Fidesa I think you should chill till you get the hard copy result so you can know the certificate number. You should be able to get it tomorrow or Tuesday and then you can proceed. You will still get ITA on Wednesday as expected...

Am planning to claim three years of experience, but one of the years was in secondary school teaching, in which I was paid by hand no pay slip or so, only reference letter, can I still use it, cos my school does not have online presence till now, but it is a registered school

Yes, you can use it. Ensure it is stated in your reference letter that you were paid in cash.

Interesting read about why a Nigerian earning 1M monthly left his job to relocate to Canada. The Canadian dream is worth it after all:

Employment letter states Program Assistant, but following the role she does, it closer to Social programs officer, but from CIC website the duties (lead statement are not much)

She has BSc in History and Msc in Social Works

hello everyone,

I have a quick question and needs the help of the house.

I intend creating my express entry profile but i'm stuck trying to figure out the correct NOC code to use.

I worked as an operations and maintenance engineer
Here is my job description;

▪ Identifying operational priorities by assessing operational objectives; determining project objectives, such as, efficiency, cost savings, energy conservation, operator convenience, safety, environmental quality; estimating relevance, time, and costs.

▪ Developing operational solutions by defining, studying, estimating, and screening alternative solutions; calculating economics; determining the impact on total system.
▪ Anticipating operational problems by studying operating targets, unit limitations, modes of operation and monitoring unit performance.
▪ Providing operational management information by collecting, analyzing, as well as summarizing operating and engineering data and trends.
▪ Ensuring that industrial machinery and equipment are running smoothly and efficiently.

Thank you all for your help!
