I like you ginger and approach to this work. Weather you are real or not, you have help shut up naysayers and pessimistic drivers. This olace use to be a place of ginger and fire. Drivers posted earnings to motivate others . Now its a place for bickering and complaining. IF UBER IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU, LEAVE AM FOR OTHERS LIKE THAT

Instead of waste energy carry pon pon and make so little, Uber is just a gold mine for me.

Remember a certain Mr. President of a populous black nation was almost killed via his Air Conditioning system, thank God for good medical care abroad, he is still battling the aftermath effect of the inhaled air from the vent system.
My point is this, some of the refrigerants being sold do not meet the expected quality standard, quite frankly those in charge of such things in Nigeria do not care.
Cancer and a lot of terminal diseases are on the increase in Nigeria, it is the food, it is the body cream ladies use, it is this,it is that nobody is sure, because we have a poor database and lack research facility.
It may even be nylon tint coupled with the excessive heat from the sun, that might be releasing certain toxin within a closed and sealed space. We the drivers spend hours everyday under the excessive heat of the sun in such sealed environment, was the cheap nylon tint designed to withstand such excessive heat from the Sun on a daily basis? over to the appropriate standard organisation in the country.
We may be slowly killing ourselves if we underestimate that the quality of what we breathe in on a daily basis matters, remember for every rider you pick, you need to put on your a/c.... Some of these low quality refrigerants may be slow poison to our system... the medical issues may come up 10 or 15 years later, when you should be enjoying the fruit of your labour, then you would be telling your doctor, such problem has never existed in your family.
Prevention as they say is better than cure.
Let us not be penny wise and health wise foolish!

Well said.

Hello house, is it advisable to use a v6 full option Camry 2.4 for Uber considering it’s fuel consumption issues . I’m the owner and want to be the driver . I’ll appreciate all inputs . Thanks

2.4l isn't a V6, if your camry is 2.4l then ride on but if it's 6cylinder that means you will spend more fueling it...

Okay

And you think the same number of riders will remain?

Maybe we should ask uber why they slashed by 40% in the first place

Because Taxify came with an offer of 15% commission and plenty free rides..
Greedy black people jumped on this and uber would have moved out of Nigeria if they didn't..
Its called survival in business

I have carefully follow this thread, all I could say, the only reasonable person I have seen is jesusson2020, who is positive about his new found job, what baffles me most is this, all those complaining about ehailing, if its not paying why not simply quit instead of complaining here. Nigerians na wa for us

Very valid point there..
I feel the complain is actually to discourage upcoming drivers and partners which is obviously a failure..
Jesusson2020 came out to do the opposite and that's why most people practically hate his guts so its just the way black people thinks
Even though I have not seen anything wrong about what the young man is saying I see a lot of likes when he gets insulted or advised..
So here is my opinion
A lot of you try to make a valid point buy saying you will ignore, he is not matured, life will get to him and all..
All of this na for your pocket and just an opinion of yours..
Then you guys make his point of being frustrated valid by mentioning his family and future after every comment..
Smh
I see no need for all of these because an innocent hard working man aired his opinion

Yourself and jesusson are the only ones getting things wrong. What everyone else is saying is about raising the standard such that it is applicable to what is obtainable else where where uber operates, especially in the west. In a more simpler term, it could have been better.

If he's going to post earnings and not just for show off, he should as well post gross, he post earning or 10k and says he his doing too well, how much of the 10k did he use for fueling, food, calls etc. What's left when you remove that?

Did you actually read a post where someone actually said he knows someone back in the day when uber started newly who delivered 100k weekly? Can anyone do that now? What people here are saying which some of you refuse to see is that the standards are dropping. This talk of leave if uber doesn't pay you is completely childish and shows lack of seeing ahead.

This thing is called ride sharing for a reason. Not all of us want to drive all day and pick 10 riders before we make something reasonable. If na two trips at a reasonable price, then fine. Going by the logic of the business, nobody would share their rides with the current rate.
My man God bless u ,is it a must u drive from 6am till 10pm in the night before I meet my target..
If it's three trip I take a day am an okay so be it
Person go so 8trips still nothing to show

Going by this your warped logic, those uber drivers that not only complained but also downed tools and protested last week in the U.S. should have just QUIT instead of complaining/protesting right?
The NLC should've just QUIT their jobs if the minimum wage was no longer sustainable to them instead of shutting down the whole country abi? Well done sir.

NOTE: Most of us "complaining" here even make more than this bricklayer, if we begin post earnings here he go hide. But money on your dashboard does not equal money in your pocket. If you know you know.

The problem is not even that he post earnings, he calls other drivers lazy. When he don't even know some of the so called lazy drivers earn more than him.

Una still dey here dey argue how much weekly una dey make or who works harder than the rest abi....

For every hard work there is always a reward... some their hardworking pays out in less hours of work, others their hardworking is plenty hours work... so be it 20k u make weekly or 50k you make weekly smile and enjoy the reward. We can't run the same race and get same results ....

I am leaving Ehailing gradually ... Corporate Auto lease is the way forward oo

Met a guy on Admiralty way and he said he pays 40k for a 08 honda civic. On 2.6M hire purchase, he has done 6 months already.

He does night job back to back. I wonder how he does it.
