Thanks a lot, brother.I'm so grateful for your words.I actually mastered some details but my agent never told me they would ask those very sensitive questions. They called me after 35 days. I just hope it turns out well.I've traveled to other countries before,as i just got back from dubai,2 months ago.I will keep all updated.

Woww, with the recent trend of calls coming in from the embassy to authenticate people's application, you should have been better prepared fro this. That's why we always advocate you do these things yourself. Nonetheless, let's hope for the best and believe they didn't get any contradictory answers from what the person filled for you. My advise, always go through all your documents and know what's in it before you submit. You may just be saving yourself a lot of pains in the future. Getting a visa is one thing, crossing the border is another. Some people may not be lucky to skip secondary screening at POE and if you don't know what's on your visa application form, you may just be shooting yourself in the leg and have your visa canceled at port of entry. Let's be very cautious and smart during our application. I am praying specifically for this application and let's be hopeful you sail through. Grace will answer for you.

My bro these stories touches the heart. The bad part of these is there is no explanation to why it's all happening

Atleast if only there is an explanation maybe people wont be having depression and getting frustrated cos my self am in that mood.

No one to speak 4 us sha

Anyone should please help. Please help recommend sites where I can do a 'book and pay later' residence reservation around Johannesburg for my study visa.

As far as cape town is concerned.

Lions head, cable way and table mountain are close to each other so same day activity.

Mojo market is in sea point area so if you are staying close by easy walk or uber. its usually nice starting Thursday evenings to Sunday but you can go any day as well.

Wine tasting is a full's days activity.

habour cruise is not bad but if you can take the Robben island tour instead. That is a full's day activity so keep in mind.

The aquarium is at the V & A waterfront. you can combine this with the harbor cruise or Robben island tour. They are in the same area.

Book in advance if you can cause you may not get the time slot you want. I would also suggest Woodstock Sunday food market as well, lots of tourists.

If you want to maximize the places you will see all in a day then book the cape town bus tour. there are different ones and you can consolidate all you want to see in a day. Some of them take you to the wine farms and through some townships as well which is nice cause you get to see the other side of cape town life, but start the tour early so you maximize your time.

It really an amazing place....what I did was to book for the HOHO premium.
Day 1.visit the table mountain from there I saw the lion head and devil
Then camp bay and straight to V&A

do they check if you have booked for accommodation at Nigerian airport?

How is cape town? Gist us abeg. Na there I wan visit too.

Yes..before you are allowed in,from your airline counter cos I learnt that they have stop sending people back from S/A airport instead they will fine the airline so they airline do the checking before allowing you to board.

Lovely place just be careful at night for those who love night life.

Hi Mroyato...I just booked 23 days for a hotel in Capetown via hotels.com. I hope the reservation confirmation from them is OK for POE guys?

I remember VFS requiring direct booking at Visa application phase. So, I really need clarifications ASAP cos my flight is tmr.

Everyone, help a brother resolve this. Thanks in advance

If it a paid reservation it ok. But if not a paid reservation you will have issues

You are good to go if you have made reservations for your entire stay. Most likely the reservations will not be confirmed at the point of entry.
Do enjoy your vacation.

They ask a guy to place a call to the hotel

To everyone waiting for study visa, I hope we get good responses quickly. I applied on the 8th of March and this is my 10th week too. I' plan to visit the VFS office today or tomorrow to get any explanation. I also emailed the Consular General yesterday but no reply yet. I pray it will end in praise.

What alternatives have you explored? Have you emailed the VFS or Consular? Have you visited the VFS office? What's your study, PhD or Master's. This is my own 10th week. I pray everything will end in praise.
