That's what I was actually thinking about. Writing them and using DHL to send the letter along with my documents again.

Yes i did... it’s painful to say that I don’t think those pple actually know what they’re doing... i got to the German Embassy In maitama... told the securities i only wanted to make an inquiry, so they directed me to a man sitting at the entrance of the main building. He had to talk to me with a microphone as i was only able to see him through a thick glass.
I asked him about student visa application and booking appointments, naso baba point one notice board for corner make i observe, i stroll reach that side read everything for the board sad... i no see anything like student visa application and booking of appointment, i go meet the man again reason am say i don get AL for Msc,BA, no scholarship and i dey live for abj. Then he redirected me to another man on uniform(man was so nice and polite as I approached him), explained the new booking appointment system to him(man smiles crookedly). Yes the fault is from lagos, he said. They’re alot happpening on that site and it is conjested and they’re currently offloading some things, lets wait till next week if the system would change again. Also he said “you can only do your interview here in Abuja if you have a scholarship or you are sent from lagos to Abuja to have your interview here(but rarely) only if you have an emergency case”. My brothers and sisters i got confused and I didn’t even want to push forward with more questions.
Those in Lagos please help us check with your consulate ...
For now I think Category B is for anyone without scholarship

AL and BA fall on you all, Amen!!!

Thanks for the feedback.

You have done extremely well by sending them a mail again and deferring your admission.

I would suggest you go there again in person. If they see that you have come again to disturb, they would look into it.
I don't know why we have to go through stress for everything in this country.

Cheers.

RomeoSierra:
Hello guys,

I need your candid advise on the next action to take concerning the scenario I'm about to narrate, I know it's a long read but I'll really appreciate your contributions. I'll try to keep it concise as much as possible.

I attended my student visa interview on the 6th of Dec. 2018 when my school was to resume in April 2019. The visa process normally takes 4-6 weeks as shown on the German website. On the 5th week after my interview I sent an email to inquire about the visa status and I got this response "Dear Sir, as your studies start in April, your visa could not yet be processed. You were an early bird considering your application. So we will process the application accordingly so that you can start your studies".

I waited till March before sending another inquiry email and there was no response from the embassy. I sent several emails afterwards and no reply, I called and I was told to send an email as no visa status information could be provided over the phone.

Mid-March I then called the Foreigner's office in the city of Kaiserslautern as my school is in Kaiserslautern and I was told that my documents have been processed and returned to my home country.

March ending I visited the consulate in person to inquire at the reception the cause of the delay but I was told to go and send an email, I explained everything to them and they said I should go and explain in the email, I told them I already did that and all they said was "be patient".

Last day of enrollment was March 31st (extended till April 10) beginning of classes was on 15th of April. I called the school to update them of the situation and help me contact the consulate but they said they don't have any influence with visa issues in Nigeria and what they can do is to defer my admission if I'm unable to meet with the deadline.

2weeks to beginning of studies i called the embassy again and explained the situation. I was told to hold for some minutes and when the person got back she told me "they said they are still working on it!"

3 days to beginning of studies, I defered my admission and got a new admission letter for winter semester in August.

April 16th I sent this email to the consulate "

Dear Sir/ Madam,
Good day,
Owing to the delay in my student visa application, I am unable to resume my classes that commenced yesterday 15th April 2019. Hence, I have deferred my admission at the university, because I cannot join the classes at a later date.
However, I have been granted a new date of resumption by the university which is the 21st August 2019, that should give adequate time for the completion of my visa application process. My interview date was on the 6th of December 2018.
I have attached a copy of my new admission letter in this email. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you."

That was my last contact with the embassy, they never acknowledged receipt of the email or the new admission letter.

Now what do I do as I am confused "note they have all my original certificates with them at the embassy" and it's been over 5 months.

Dude upload this sharply. They'll accept it. Meanwhile your score report from ETS will take ages to get to you or to any school in Europe. I even used this printout for uniassist and they accepted.

I was told by my course coordinator that LMU's international office has started sending admission letters, within the next week or two
they should arrive but it depends on when you
applied, your department and the complexity of your paperwork. To give you an idea, I applied since February, sent all documents for checking around early April, and only got my admission this month. Not sure about Siegen but all the best, hold on just a bit longer and I'm sure you will soon have cause to rejoice.

What course in lmu did you get? Ecology just wrote their exam at Goethe institute last week. Epidemiology still pending.
Did you write exam for yours?

You can try visiting the consulate to submit the doc by hand if you live with Lagos or her environs... But Paulinus can be a really pain in d butt if you don't have a doc requesting for u to come drop such at the consulate.
Don't forget to go with your visa fee receipt and other communications you've had with them in the past.

All the best.

Did you write exam for yours?

I applied for the international masters program in geology. I wrote a test but it was online, the test was basically to formulate a possible 6-page thesis proposal for a potential masters project in my field of geology. They gave me a week(including research/reading time) to do this, at first I panicked but all went well eventually.

From what I've heard, LMU is quite notorious for rigorous admission procedures but keep pressing on and I'm sure all will turn out well. Good luck on the results of your exam!
