Any experience or opinion on this? Loft/attic accomodation. Will it be unbearably cold in d winter?

If the attic/ loft is free and has enough room for u and yours, then by all means take it. Or else my guy find proper house. Personally i would advice any new comer to live in a condo first. There are generally fewer responsibilities for a tenant living in a condo than when you live in a standalone house or a basement (no stress of snow shovelling, lawn mowing, trash disposal etc). However if your kids are FREE RANGE raised (like mine) then u will need to use a very short leash to hold them when in a condo, because u cannot use your own to disturb another mans peace (unlike in naija). It can be a rude awakening sha. Even the smell of that your pepper laden stew wafting tru the corridor can be construed as disturbing the peace in a condo. But if you are single or with a small family of HOUSE TRAINED kids then the condo is the way to go. Just my thoughts

infact if you obtain another passport i.e renew post COPR, your immigrant visa becomes invalid if you inform ircc.

Good day everyone, I received my PPR on May 8th and planning to book my flight for last week of July.

Can one do landing formalities in Montreal cos the Turkish Airlines flight to Calgary is via Montreal or I will do it in Calgary

Also has anyone flown Turkish Airlines? Please what's the experience like?

Hello, I actually travelled at 36weeks and the 32wks is for local . I wasn't asked and they can't even tell how many weeks you are.i was asked to go to the health center at the airport and the fit to fly you are given is what you will actually be using to board the plane.

This is not true. Lots of people here have renewed their passports after COPR.

This is the most untrue thing I've read on this thread. Do better.

I don’t think there was a need for “do better”
Nd he/she’s actually right though cuz someone has shared a story here before about how CIC invalidated and issued them a new copr because they had changed passports and notified CIC.
Me thinks if you renew and go with your 2 passports, you are good. But if you renew and notify CIC about a change in passport, then they recall the issued copr and tell you to send in the new passport for reissue

ICAN/CIMA is not a MRA as such , it's just the same thing as ICAN/ACCA, WITH Cima ,you write only one paper, with ACCA you write 4 papers
Actually they are all MRAs. ICAN/ACCA or ICAN/CIMA.... so long as there is an agreed and approved pathway for a specific qualification between bodies, an MRA exists. It’s just that we don’t use the term MRAs to describe it. Same way ACCA has an MRA with ICAN wherein you only write 2/3 papers if you are ACCA qualified

Yes you can do your landing formalities there.

Turkish is good but layover is my issue with them, some of their food was strange to me but then it will sustain a bit.

There is possibility they put you to a connecting flight of Air Canada or West jet.

I flown it mid last year anyway.

Edit: someone i know who used the app without reading the manual failed the test. He passed at second attempt though.

You can use the app but you have to try and read the book. At least the whole of it.

The good thing about the app is that you can use it to read the book. With each answer you can link to the relevant section of the book.
