In all honesty, your chances are slim. However, if you can afford to, start ICAN asap - forget about pgdm, mba and the likes. ICAN, increases your chances of getting that dream job... Because in a nutshell accounting is simply documenting income and expenditure, and the attendant options of being proficient in procurement, taxation, fleet management/Logistics and even problem solving skills can be an added advantage.

Secondly, enterpreneurship is another option but I can deduce that you've challenges raising start up capital if not you would have tried something after your youth service.

Finally, forget that degree, pretend you never wasted funds in a university to acquire it, now scroll through your phone book - time to rekindle old connections.

It might even be ur 3rd class that will open door for u. Don't just stop keep belifing and do personal development.
Whr i work a colleague of mine earn 90k per month as an ict officer without going to school.. He only paraded a fake OND result as his own... Belief i don't earn close to what he earn as a data entry operator in that company despite the fact that i know most of the things he handles.

I graduated with a Third class in Accounting too, many years ago. It will be a tough path but you can succeed if you stay focused. Try and look for internship positions and gain some experience (even if you need to pay for it) Once you get in, you most likely will become family and get hired. Best of luck.

Let me keep it real, I've read brilliant suggestions here but in addition to having professional certifications, look into the future of work trend and acquire skills. You should be moderately comfortable with figures.

No offence - but educational investments without the prerequisite networks is wasted effort in today's society.
The way out is simple, keep applying, make it a habit to apply for at least 5 jobs every day. Call your more successful peers, resist the temptation to beg for monetary help... Instead ask for referrals on companies/organisations that are hiring, believe me you, they always know!
