You must be sure that the laptop carries a Bluetooth device. If it doesn't, the drivers are practically useless.

You can find the hardware in device manager. You can also find the device listed whenever you run a drivers package (e.g drivers-pack 17).

In a nutshell, be sure the hardware is present before worrying about drivers.

I have checked already, it doesnt have one, thats why i tried installing the driver but my wifi is working well. Pls what can i do now?

Hi.

If the hardware isn't there, you will need to get a Bluetooth-USB dongle. A tiny device that you connect to your computer via USB.

It does not need any drivers—it's plug and play.

sir I need ur advice on this I want to get a system with full knowledge that the charging port is faulty though it works perfectly well with the battery. the battery could be charged in another system and it will work in that system bt I have heard issues where charging problem involves changing the motherboard completely so my question is can I go for such system considering my financial strength?

Its quite apparent that you want to save some money whilst buying a PC. First, I want to say it's a legitimate quest.
After all its just the charging port right?

In fact people buy laptops with broken screens, they change the screens and everything is great.

Now, when it comes to ports— any kind of ports ; charging ports, USB Ports, VGA ports etc, you need to be sure that they'll work before you go ahead and make payments.

If the seller has tested and confirmed that it's the charging port, then you let him know that you'll need to fix the charging port before payment. Of course everything will be done at the sellers place. Except you'll be paying for the fix.

Note that cost of the laptop plus fixing the port isn't up to the cost of the laptop if everything is intact.

So, back to your financial state:- do not let desperation kick in. If you can save up yo get a completely functional PC, all well and good. After all all you'll need is more time.

But if you can't wait...

You need to find a way to ensure that the bolded happens.

Verdict:
If you must buy, fix on same day at sellers place. The seller might even suggest a fix then he'll recommend a handful of technicians who will come fix the issue.

Just be calm, be smart... Do not be desperate.

I hope your OS is not pirated if its please don't update anything, if not kindly check your settings---change pc settings-----windows update-----choose how update get installed and make sure its on installed update automatically

Hello.

Charging issues can come from three areas. The charger, the battery or the motherboard.

1. The charger (you've checked that).

2. The battery: You'll need to check with another battery to be sure the battery isn't the issue.

If 1 and 2 prove not to be the issue, then there could be issues on the motherboard and only accurate diagnosis from a technician will help give clear directions to a solution.

Ofcourse they were meant to last for just a few months. Optimal performance is expected to last for 6 months to 9 months.
Thereafter, there'll be a sharp depreciation in performance.

So, roughy have a year of joy and the other half...y'know what it is.

Your best bet will be to calm down and look for a original battery.

well it depends on what you want tho, downloading will not come with license but will still do the same as what you will get in the disk.

you can get the installation disk from computer village should be less than 500 but know that it is pirated version you will get for that price original windows 8.1 disk will be btw the range of 10-15k.

Pls my hp notebook 15 laptop wifi and Bluetooth doesn't work
Last night I tried browsing from the laptop through my phones Hotspot buh the laptop's wifi wasn't turning on
Normally it is supposed say something like "searching for wifi networks" or so buh nothing was coming up
I even switched off and on the airplane mode buh still nothing

I also tried sending a file via Bluetooth to my phone but I wasn't going as well

So I'm guessing the problem is something about wireless connectivity

Go to your device manager and check if you have network driver missing,

Network controller to be specific.
