Back then, it was my dad that provided the financial evidence like his bank statement and pay slips. The reason for concern back then was that the money available for the trip was way more than his annual income, so he explained that the funds were gotten from savings and sales if some properties but he failed to provide evidence for these claims............. Presently now though, time has changed all these evidences are available ...sources of funds..... Banks statements, payslips and promotion /employment letter

Okay... Why not tell your dad to put the funds in your personal account for 28day? That will really help to show that the funds are available to you.

Well, this is just my opinion. Your Dad been your sponsor is also correct.

Please, my fiancé and I wd be getting married early July and I want him to travel with me. I hope it won't be a problem if he apply immediately after I gt my visa, considering the fact that we are newly married and also my maiden name wd still be on my passport.
Can a dependant also use the super priority service?

Congratulations in advance on your marriage. There wont be any problem if he apply immediately after you have got your visa but I'll suggest that you travel first resume and then he can apply as your dependant. He can use super priority service if he wants.

Yes, you can travel together but this depends on when is your course start date. Please go through the requirements for dependant visa. I still insist on my suggestion of travel first, settle down for like two months then you invite him as your dependant. I dont want the VO to have a feeling that you have ulterior motive.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I've actually studied in the UK before but wasn't married then and didn't need payslips and all. I asked the question because of the guy whose visa was denied because he claimed he worked with an oil company but didn't include his employment letter. Is it OK to say funds are personal savings from my husband and myself (when asked the source) as I intend to show I'm self sponsored.
1. That got nothing to do with student visa application..

2. Yes you can say that if truly you are self employed just in case you are asked a further question about your business during the interview, so basically prepare to defend whichever answer you give during the interview.
