House Of Representatives Increased Recruitment Age Of Fresh Graduate by GiwaMoore1: 11:45pm On May 15, 2019
The House of Representatives has increased recruitment age of fresh graduates seeking employment into government ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) to 45 years. The bill, when finally assented to would stipulate that all Nigerians aged 45 and below would be eligible for employment into MDAs. Also, this age limit is applied to the military, police and other paramilitary organisations. Until this altercation, the age limit for recruitment is pegged at minimum of 30 years. https://leadership.ng/2019/05/15/reps-peg-recruitment-age-into-mdas-at-45/

There are some things which should be criminalise in Nigeria in terms of employment.
It should be made an offence to ask about your age, where you come from, and marital status.
It should not even be disclose in the CV. Thar is the standard now.

If from 60 years old is eligible to vie for elective post I see no reason why a youth who is 35 to 40 cannot be employ or recruited into government agencies.

Good measure..

We can't lie about the fact we have a very wide gap of unemployed that would take a generation to close up..

25 - 35years age group.

35 years is the current age limit even in the military.

Good move, there should also eliminate state of origin and use state of residence instead, because this ish of state discrimination is causing harm than good. "TRIBAL NONSENSE'

How would "Federal Character" be checked if they don't ask of where you come from?

What exactly is federal character and who does it benefit apart from those shouting it?

State of origin is very important.
Your address in your CV already highlights your state of residence.
