I have answered this question before.

1) She does not have a claim to the throne
2) It doesn't matter who rung the bell. Besides all her conquests have been based on the people not their rulers. They will be silly to trust a stranger, who has the mad blood flowing through her vein and two dragons. They have experienced the Targeryan rule and they didn't like it. Na by force? smiley
3) It couldn't have been a gimmick. Fleet were down, the walls have been breached, the golden companys were down, her soldiers were in the city with a dragon flying overhead. It is common sense. Also, D &grin did not give your reason for Dany burning people alive.
4) When she realised who Jon Snow, someon who is not power obsessed would have taken a moment to think things through but no she rushed into battle with Cersei, she tried to continue her incestous relationship because it was all about her Destiny..

You can love her character but you don't have to defend her actions. I knew she was going to be a mad Targeryan when she won't stop talking about her destiny.

In all Dany conquest, it has been the people who captured the city for her not the people.

Who rung the bell of surrender? was it a person with authority from Cersei to do so or just another gimmick by the Lannisters to deceive her like theyve been doing all along

1. So who had a claim to the throne? Which of those who have sat on the throne had a claim to it? Was it Robert, Joffrey, Tommen or Cersei?

2. It matters who rung the bell as you need to get surrender from the right person, Till death was Cersei the ruler willing to surrender? If the people can't love her they should fear her. According to one old wise woman

Lady Olenna : I can't remember a queen who was better loved than my granddaughter . . . and what is left of her now? Ashes. Commoners, nobles, they're all just children, really. They won't obey you unless they fear you."

"Olenna: Peace never lasts, my dear. Will you take a bit of advice from an old woman?
I've known a great many clever men. I've outlived them all. You know why? I ignored them. The lords of Westeros are sheep. Are you a sheep? No. You're a dragon. Be a dragon."

3. So with all the fleets down all the soldiers decimated, why did the rule of KL Cersei order to ring the bell? or someone with authority to do so. Someone other than a fugitive i KL that was cunningly released by the dwarf to help Cersei escape and even paid the best smuggler in Westeros to ship Cersei out, gave Jamie the path to take away Cersei. Tyrion cared more about his sister than the people.

4. Has incest ever been a problem for Targaryans? or has incest ever stopped Cersei and her product of incest from ruling?

Danaerys and Jon, and all these arguments.

We all have sense, but please follow the sense the creators are giving us.

Danny made it clear to Jon, there are two factors that make leaders- love and fear.

Jon has the love of the people, she was left with fear. Fear drove her to destroy innocent souls including children.

Despite our inclinations, the creators want us to see Jon as the better ruler because love is greater than fear.

Meanwhile, surprised that most of our friends at sports section congregate here too.

In the midst of the ongoing hatred, let's try and analyse the episode.
Before we begin, here's the exchange between Ned Stark and Robert Baratheon.
Ned Stark: You will dishonor yourself forever if you do this.
Robert Baratheon: Honor?! I've got Seven Kingdoms to rule! One King, Seven Kingdoms! Do you think honor keeps them in line?! Do you think it's honor that's keeping the peace?! IT'S FEAR! FEAR AND BLOOD!
I found many symbolism and parallels in this episode.
Let's start with the name of this episode, The Bells. This name rings a bell (Yep) for those who knows thier history.
Battle of the Bells was the decisive battle which shifted the odds in Robert's favor during his rebellion, many believe Battle of Trident to be the game changer, although it was, but Battle of the bells marked the beginning of the end for Targaryen Dynasty.
How things came full circle.
A Lannister sacked the city and ultimately ended the Targaryen Dynasty, now a Targaryen sacked the city and ended the Lannister Dynasty.
Pycelle manipulated Aerys into opening the gates for Tywin Lannister, meaning the gates weren't breached but opened from the inside.
Dany blew those same gates from the inside.
Why was Cersie's death both satisfactory and perfect.?
I will answer that soon, but first let's talk about the elephant (Yep) in the room.
The sack of Kingslanding.
Was it premeditated? Nope. Not at all.
When Tyrion told her about the bells, she genuinely wanted to go with that, that's what she ordered Greyworm to do.
So what happened.?
Bells happened.
While she was on that rooftop waiting for the bells, she had every intention of leaving things at that, but when the bells began to rang she took a trip down the memory lane.
(Hats off to Emilia Clarke for such an intense and incredible performance)
Upon hearing those bells and staring at the red keep, she imagined the horror her family and her brother's family must have felt during the sack of Kingslanding, the terror in which Elia Martell was, the screams of little Rhaenys and baby Aegon who had no idea what was happening, then mountain came, crushed Aegon's head into a pulp, stabbed Rhaenys while Elia was watching and then raped her while the brain matter of her son was still on his hands, and then killed her as well.
(This is why Cersie's death was so perfect, the horror Tywin inflicted upon Rhaegar's family came upon his own family, especially on those whom he favoured the most, the terror and horror in Cersie's eyes for her baby, as well as with Jamie was similar to what Elia and her kids went through).
After that Dany remembered everything that happened because of the rebellion, losing their home, begging on the streets, all those who died from Willem darry to Missandei, from silver to Rhaegal. And what did she get in return? Complete distrust and fear.
So if they fear her despite doing the good, then yes, Let it be fear.
She is not mad, what madness is for other people is a regular Monday for a Targaryen.
I told this a few times before maybe others did as well, Cersie did turn the city into a trap, if Dany had accepted the surrender, she would have blown up the city with the wildfire caches that we saw exploding during the episode.
Kingslanding was ground zero, and people chose to be in that place, they chose Cersie who hid behind a curtain during the Great war, while Dany literally fought the threat with her own hands.
Also many who died in that fire were soldiers as well.
She is a khaleesi and Dothraki follow those who can instill fear among their subject, a wise ruler should inspire a little fear, that's what Tyrion said.
Take a look at the history and you will see what a weak and gullible ruler ends up having at his doorstep.
Speaking about Greyworm, Dany had many loyal people with her, be it Jorah, Selmy, Naharis or Missandei. But Greyworm topped them all.
Like I said, the sack wasn't premeditated, so as soon as Dany began her assault, Greyworm quickly followed without hesitating, that was quite a moment.
About Cersie and valonqar prophecy.
"When your tears have drowned you,(she was crying profusely) the valonqar shall wrap his hands (Jamie was embracing her) about your pale white throat (what happens when you are terrified to your bone thinking about your imminent death, you do turn pale white) and choke the life from you.”(the ruble wouldn't have killed her instantly, it's possible she died a painful death gasping to breath).
In S7 we had this conversation between Dany and Olenna.
"Dany : I am not here to be queen of the ashes.
Lady Olenna : I can't remember a queen who was better loved than my granddaughter . . . and what is left of her now? Ashes. Commoners, nobles, they're all just children, really. They won't obey you unless they fear you."
It's not that Dany forgot what she said here like some memes are suggesting, she just chose not to take the overrated moral high ground, instead she chose to heed Olenna's realistic advice.
Then we had this part.
She became a dragon soon after this with Field of Fire and Tarly's execution, but her mistake was that she again went back to the morally correct advices of Tyrion and Varys and Jon, that's what costed her the most.
Someone else should have died instead of Olenna, things would have been better a long time ago.
Better late than never, Dany finally accepted her dragon part.
I will end this with one quick fact.
During the onset of Robert's rebellion, Hoster Tully burned villages to the ground when they refused to betray the Targaryens.

One thing has always been certain about GoT, it’s not a fairytale movie where you’ll have a happy ending and the prince marries the princess and they’ll live happily ever after, I knew this when Ned Stark died.

The whole show is a movie, the producers are following a script, HBO is a multi million dollar company, they spend money and time to make this movie, hired professionals, this movie has broken so many records, set new standards so it’s funny when I see people who haven’t written a church play complaining that the movie is crap.

I feel the only reason there’s so many complaints about this season is because it’s the last one, people don’t actually want it to end so they’re acting out by criticizing it.

GoT is a just a movie, a great one at that, let’s just enjoy it and appreciate the work and efforts of the producers, Emilia Clark is a simple person in real life, she’s just playing her part, it’s her job, she’s an actress, people are getting too emotional about the whole thing, it’s a fvcking movie

1 million likes...

Some fans have fail to realise that it's just a show...they have actually term it to realism... (Someone was complaining of Jamie being able to walk normal after being stabbed forgetting that Arya ran 100 miles after multiple stabs to kill a skilled assassin.). It's just a show dammit..

One thing you can't take away from GoT however are the professionalism of the casts, the music, the background theme songs, the CGI graphics, the costumes, the dialogues.... Trust me it is very hard to get all this perfect in any show and GOT have succeeded in doing that.... I don't want to talk about the writings and plots (that has been an opinionated battle in this thread).

I really feel fans are angry the show is ending... People talk about the show being rushed and forget that in the beginning there were many casts, many locations to show, many plots to play...but as the latter stage of the series (with up to 100 deaths of main casts). Plots will get smaller, dialogues will seem rushed and scene locations will definitely shrink.

The problem with this your assertion is that Daenerys now knew she wasn't the true heir to the throne because of the new knowledge of who Jon really is and he had the love of the people. That simply meant she had lost out on every front if the secret gets out and she knew it would.

So as a Mad queen she wanted to install fear from her part hoping against hope that the secret would not be revealed.

From jons' expression when he saw her burning KL it would be interesting to see how he reacts when they meet.

Danny right now will not hesitate to kill Jon for the throne. Forget the love they share. She is mad about becoming THE QUEEN and ready to rule with fear.

It is clear you don't read my replies. Go and argue with the Author and the writers then. She is Targeryan. Obsession with taking the throne and demanding respect led him to his death. Same with what happened with Dany

Dany claimed she had a claim to the throne. She couldn't have if her father was justly murdered. We are talking about Dany here not the rest of them. If it is about Robert, he hmctually had a legitimate claim to the throne until Jon Snow. He led the rebellion that caused the mad king's death.

I am tired of you

If you were a judge in a court and Cersei was brought before you for sentencing and all you have to make your judgement on is, "Cersei told Lancel Lannister to get Robert drunk, Robert was so drunk and subsequently got injured by a Boar, this injury then led to his death".

You would say Cersei killed Robert, would you?
she had every intention of killing him she told lancel to drug him before the hunt, if she hadn't done that Robert couldn't have been killed by boar and could been alive today, don't analyse it the way you analyse crimes in Nigeria, Nigeria is a very lawless country, many people get away with murder here

We are basically saying the same thing. Dany going after the throne for revenge is perfectly understandable but claiming it because it belonged to her and it is her destiny because she was able to hatch dragon eggs is her being a liar and a hypocrite.

She wanted to be loved not feared. She is used to love not fear. How is she different from the masters when doesn't justifies burning people for her ultimate aim. She should have turned back when she realised that the people didn't like her.

This your number 2 na trash. Dany had soldiers on the ground. Those fighting for Cercei had surrendered already. All they needed was to march to the place Cercei was and capture her. Dany could also have burnt down the building Cercei was to the ground. Those are the 2 options a reasonable person would have taken to. But no she decided to destroy thousands of innocent women and children. I'm saying this again. If Jamie had arrived earlier, Cercei would have escaped.
Apart from that, how did Danny know cercie didn't order for the bell to be rung. Nobody knew who rang the bell. The fact was that the war was over and those fighting for Cercei had either been killied or had surrendered..

She's the heir of nothing. Under Westerosi Law, no woman can lay claim to the Iron Throne. She never had any claim from the beginning. Everyone used to hail her smartness & calculated moves, but behind all that I always saw someone that was just an opportunist and an entitled brat.
How can someone be fighting to the death to keep wearing a crown that has never being in her family before. The Lannisters are not a royal family, just a noble one.. So i never really understood Cercei's love for the Throne of Westeros.

She already had an army of loyal Lannister soldiers, had lands, had gold. What the fvck does she want to be Queen for?

At least Dany can say 'my ancestors forged the seven kingdoms, my father was a king of the seven kingdoms'. That is a claim.
What could Cercei say to justify her anything if not pure unadulterated greed.

She died too easy sef.

danced too close to madness. King Jaehaerys once
told me that madness and greatness are two sides
of the same coin. Every time a Targaryen is born,
the gods toss a coin in the air and the world holds
its breath to see how it will land. Why do I love this quote so much, it just kept repeating in my head, I wish GRRM will write a story about old valyrian, that was where the targaryens came from, am sure there will be so much to write about, GRRM is a genius and when he dies his brain should be experimented on cos he is so freaking good
