The north has proven for the second time that they decide who becomes president, all thanks to the foolish South West, South South and South East.

Go and check the 2019 results again.. Even if the South West voted Atiku, Buhari would still have won.

The entire South is at the mercy of the North come 2023..... grin

We have the North West, North East, North Central, South West, South East, and South South.

There is no written agreement anywhere that power must switch to one geo political zone after 8 years so what we will see is the north presenting a North Easterner for presidency and the stupid south as usual, clamouring for Vice....

Jonathan was lucky to have ruled this country.
stupid and selfish analysis. Don't let sentiment to determine your judgment.

Igbos are not serious because they don't support Buhari? The way some people reason just they make me wonder. The last time I checked, this is democracy and multiple party system. A people or persons have the right to choose whoever they believe will protect their interest. In the last few years when Igbos were heading sensitive positions in the country, did anyone make all these senseless remarks. Just this past government and now you people won't let someone hear word. If PDP had won this election, would you have come up with this and who told you APC will win the next election?

The Yorubas can fvcking get the fvcking Presidency in two thousand and fvcking twenty three.

Let's see if that'd end their sophisticated slowpoke-ness.

Until then, let it sink into the yet-be-mined skulls that they, henceforth, shall be alone in anything that has to do with numbers in the South.

Well, there are the Yoruba Christians; the good guys.

People keep asking 'what do Igbos want?'. Its like asking a prisoner in a jail what they want when you already know that the prisoner wants his freedom.

Give Igbos a referendum for them to decide if they want to still be part of Nigeria or an independent nation, they say no

Restructure Nigeria so that Igbos can have their own autonomous Region and control their affairs, they say no.

Every day they will be making noise with "Igbo presidency!" As if this will help us Igbos in any way.

What did the Ijaws get out of GEJ's 5 year rule? Nothing

What did Yorubas get out of OBJ's 8 year rule? Nothing

What groundbreaking thing can anyone point at that Daura people in Daura got out of Buhari's 4 year rule? Nothing

So it is when an Igbo man becomes president that the sky will fall on Igbo land? Igbos have gotten wise, they know that no political position in Nigeria means anything without sovereignty

The presidency of Nigeria will do nothing for Igbos same a it did nothing for all those who held it in the past.

What Igbos want is their sovereignty! Not the presidency of the sinking ship called Nigeria

No matter the amount of tantrums you throw up or the expletives you hurl at this young brilliant man, take a moment of unbiased reminiscence on and you'll all come to just one conclusion-It's the brutal truth.

Nothing but the truth. Coming from one of your own!

Not one of the problems, but the main problem. You can only be a problem if you are worth it. Inconsequential 5% cannot be a problem to Nigeria. They are only problem to themselves. A tribe that sacrificed over three million of its people to the Yoruba gods between 1967 and 1970, such a tribe is a problem to itself. A tribe that has thousands of its people in jails all over the world for drug pushing and fraud, such a tribe will go into extinction one day.

Igbos are not afraid to do what is necessary.Go back to the era of ironsi who created a unitary government or ojukwu who created a separate country.
We are not afraid to do the hard thing.

Unlike others that will get in power and begin to compromise, the right igbo president will get the job done.

Only an igbo will have the political audacity to restructure this country and I know many people realise that already.

For the first bolded: where did that Ironsi's unitary system land us today, and how come Igbos' voices are the loudest about a return to the true federalism Ironsi replaced with that unitary system? Is it just about being bold to do things however stupid?

For the second bolded: how come with all the mutual love and respect that existed between Igbos and Jonathan, Igbos didn't one day have the audacity to challenge Jonathan to restructure but chose to only keep on with the narrative that Jonathan must have his second term as if that was more important than the restructuring to which Jonathan paid lip service throughout his uneventful tenure?
The only Igbo man, Festus Odumegwu, who had the temerity to challenge the system by making a case and a genuine attempt towards an important aspect of restructuring was booted out of office by Jonathan to the applause of his own Igbo kinsmen.

God bless Tinubu.

I don’t know any Nigerian (living or dead) that is as politically savvy as Jagaban. Tinubu is not a sain KKKt but we all know he’s a visionary that wants great things to happen for his state and his country.

The point I’m trying to make is that every region needs a Tinubu. A visionary that unites all the other regional leaders and make them work together towards a set goal.

Ipob, Massob, ohanrze and other ibo groups do not have the sagacity to unite all the eastern leaders.

Thus far, the east is yet to produce a visionary and politically savvy leader and without such a leader, it will be difficult to make it into Aso rock for my ibo brothers and sisters.

Bros, all these one u dey talk, no concern me and I'm sure many young Nigerians don't mind who rule them as long as the person can solve electricity problem, provide water, create jobs, provide security. Etc.

With all the praises giving to Tinubu, OBJ ruled for 8 years, now a VP is from south west, plus Tinubu so called powers, has souty west become as developed as any city in south Africa?

Is there constant power supply in south west? Do we now have clean water in south west? I mean a region that produced a president for 8 years, produced a VP for four years now, have their sons occupy big ministerial positions, how have these affected the common man in Ekiti, Osun, Oyo, etc?

U people keep celebrating Tinubu this and that because he gets u guys to buy to ethnic sentiment..

Ma brother, I don't care, the only leader I av felt his visionary leadership was Yaradua. Others so far are jokers..

Until u guys come to terms and divide this country, no no matter how many times a region produces a leader, even the region will not feel it.

North has more leaders so far in this country, yet, it is the region wit the worse developmental records..

Abeg, na igbo presidency I won chop?

Well, will not move from a tyrant president to another tyrant president.
Present Tinubu and see how badly he will lose.
From one almajiri to another almajiri, Nigeria is lot Lagos
Forget visionary, if he is, he would have known that Gov. Ambode is the best thing for Lagos now.
Don't forget about the religious sentiments in Nigeria(After a senior almajiri you want to bring a junior one to rule us and make us all almajiri's).

It is not as if we don't know that the writer is telling us the truth, the big question is how are we going to demand for the political justice when our house is scattered and the entire Nation is using it against us,yes,if we truly want the presidency, this is the time to starts making a necessary noise and get the entire Nation known our stand.
Again, do Igbo really have a national figure that can be accepted by the whole nation?
If a slot were given to Igbos to produce a candidate within themselves, that is when u'll know the real hatred going on here.
