I'm thinking of ending my life. A father and a husband who can not provide for his family please of what use his he. I tried everything I could lay my hands on but all is futile i can't take it anymore, the shame of incompetence is already killing me gradually, i might as well just end it all so everyone can move on without my wasted life.

Suicide isn't an option. I've been through hell and back, but I'm still standing today. Relax, bro. Keep trying and soon, very soon, you'll have a break through.

Fact it you are close to a breakthrough.
Its always hardest before it all pays out.
I would say , stay at home less, keep hustling, anything, dont let ego be in the way.

If you do decide to take your life why not rob a bank of rich individual. If you die, you die, if you dont your family is well taken care off. Win-win. cry

Please remember your kids they will be fatherless and their suffering will be worse in the history of mankind, remember your wife, family members they will never forget the pain. Please calm down and look for where you are not getting it right. There is always tomorrow. Start anything and believe God it will be well. I passed through hell when I was in the university. Nobody care if I exist. I sleep in the class because I don't have money to rent a bed in the school hostel talk of renting a house. My girlfriend later set me up. I survived a lot of set up in school, I don't have money to feed talk of buying text books. I was at the verge of ending it but my friend says guy your suffering is preparing you ahead of great things. Today God is wonderful. Please don't kill yourself please.

Too tired to type jare. I wanted to point him to see a seer for deep spiritual counselling to push his hope up. The seer would then tell him what to do and how to take the step to come out of the crisis

I don't know what you're passing through at present, and I won't pretend like I have a clue. However, I can tell you I once hit rock bottom once. I've seen pure hunger, rejection with no respite in sight. I've face very difficult moments I would not want to mention here. But today I'm fine all thanks to God. Stay in there bro, I beg you. Stay in there for yourself, family, loved ones and friends.

a dead father and husband is of no use either, and the saddest part is you will never be able to change their perception of you once you are dead, but with life there is always great hope for tomorrow

Swallow your pride
Have great patience
Pray like you dont work and work like you dont pray
If you are in lag, go to the wharf, go to building sites, go to the airport...etc..one of these places are starting points if you dont start, how can you even give up?
Start somewhere

By the way, what kind of profession are you in? You can post your educational and job experience background, some body might just be needing your expertise here

Once you're gone, there is no coming back.

The world is vast, and although many industries are now saturated, that are still millions of ideas unexplored.

There are many skills that one can learn with which they could earn lots of money. I am not married, but there was a time I was just as broke and miserable.

I picked up a pen and paper, opened Google and began to learn a skill. 6 months later, I earn over 200,000 monthly, without working for anyone.

The world is huge; think outside the box; where there is life, there is hope.

Brother it will surely work out for you. At least even if you are not a billionaire in future you will be comfortable to train your kids. Remember there is always tomorrow. Suffering endurate through the night but laughter comes in the morning.

Life is not wasted if you are still alive. Life is for the living. No challenge is insurmountable. The greatest obstacle we face is inside our head. If you believe, you can overcome all your challenges one day at a time. There are many things out there easier than committing suicide. Seek help if you need it. There are many people on NL willing to help. Money is not everything. If you are unhappy when you are broke, money will not bring you any happiness. Even the blind beggar on the street has moments of happiness.
