Good evening NL, I applied for visitor's visa last year which I was denied. While applying for my f1 visa today, I tried to retrieve my previous ds 160 used for the visiting visa but to no avail so I had to fill a new ds 160 all over again . My problem is that after making payment and scheduling an interview, I found out that my interview confirmation page is showing the previous ds 160 application number. How can I correct this error to have the current ds 160 application ID. |

John Hopkins, of course. Great school. I always read the university journal. It is not just the best school for public health, but has one of the best hospitals in the world, with many breakthroughs and well-funded research. You'll enjoy the school. Congrats! mojeezy: |

This is a very funny question sha... lol First of all, we all know that US official language is basically English, (even though some agitate for Spanish) and Nigeria's official language is English. So going to the embassy with a SOA in french does not cut it at all, even if your sponsor is French or in a french country. You have to do a certified translation. I would suggest you take the statement to Alliance Francais and do a translation. iIam suggesting that place cos it is recognized internationally. The VO will not think anything if you explain very well that your sponsor lives and works legally in the french country where the bank is situated. I will also suggest you get a letter of sponsorship from your sponsor to briefly explain/introduce his/her self, or give a brief personal background/history and also proof of relationship with you. So do a translation, and then take the translated copy and the french copy with you to the interview. Good luck jossywayne: |

jennybaybee:Ok,your responses to some questions are verbose? Do you have any friends in the US? Just say NO A lot of people from your home are probably more of relatives...that's long-windedness!(delete that part) How did you find out about the school? Through my cousin,an alumni of the school, who waxed lyrical about the numerous opportunities such as xxxx and Xxxx and Bleep the school offered when he returned back.His/her knowledge/skill gained allow him/her to secure mouth watery employment. Please:Hope you know the full name of your cousin. The VO may ask. Why are you planning to continue your education now? Your responses are generic.. This is another way of asking: what are your career plans? To answer this you need to have a career plan..do you? Since you are currently working you can say this: After graduation I planned to work for 2/3 years and thereafter go for my masters to consolidate on my experiences in the corporate industry. The masters program will mould me as an expert by addressing the problems of health communication in Nigeria. *Mind you you should know some of this problems.. Or if there is a recent opportunity at your work place you want to key into you can say this: Currently,my company is considering revamping health communication and there will be open opportunities when I return back to Naija. It will be a supervisory position and I will love to join the new departments to solve their problems and help drive results... Work on why you chose GU?Those points are generic. Ok,look for something unique in the school that relates to you in your faculty in the school. Look for research, look for innovations. Check what makes the course synopsis stand out. #My2cents |

hello nairalanders. I'm new on this thread. sometimes last week, I was searching through Google for universities in the US with low tuition fees. Then, I came across something I don't quite understand. There's in-state tuition fees and out of state tuition fees. And in-state tuition fees is less, very less than out-of-state tuition. I don't quite understand this. I'll appreciate some explanation. Thanks. |

Ogoo91:Why would you have a masters degree and go for an accociate degree?......and the age is another redflag......your intentions may be pure but they'll think you want to run away......so just go for PhD instead |

Ekunsgreat:Baba you can't compare the school you chose with these other 2 schools at all. Even your reason is weak. Someone asked you here if you were admitted to the other schools, you didn't reply. You really need to be convincing on why you went with Lincoln. |
