The lineup includes Chuck Lorre's sitcom "Bob Hearts Abishola" starring Folake Olowofoyeku, Billy Gardell and Shola Adewusi. It is a love story that sees a middle-aged compression sock businessman from Detroit, played by Gardell, fall for his cardiac nurse, a Nigerian immigrant played by Olowofoyeku. Do Americans still watch network shows? Netflix ti take over. I hope the shows does well sha. Just seening it's from the creator of two and half men and The big bang theory . That's ratings gold in the making. Good thing Nigerians are being portrayed in a positive light unlike before How many times have we winced in pain as foreign actors tried to pass off as Nigerians? From Will Smith in "Concussion" to Idris Elba in Netflix's "Turn Up Charlie", we have all had to suffer as our 'Nigerianess' went through the wringer. So true. Watching Americans and Brits trying to force Nigerian accents can be very cringe worthy and tiring to watch. Even Chiwetel Ejiofor in that movie where he played a Nigerian surgeon sounded nothing like a Nigerian. 25 Likes 3 Shares |

Hella funny show. The accent is real! Where she called him BOBU got me laughing. In other words, only a Nigerian can possess a Nigerian accent as well as speak ‘Nigerian’ coherently. All these American-Nigerian wannabes can only but try. 25 Likes 2 Shares |

Y'all just be getting the black women to fall for the least attractive white men And her Nigerian accent is cringe-worthy, when they don't have us sounding South African or Kenyan, they get the most crude version of the Nigerian accent (which is usually some bottom level Yoruba accent for the UK), and pass it off as Nigerian, so that their white audience can laugh at the African accent. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Their Nigerian accent sounds like shit to us the same way our 'fake' American accent sounds to them. People around here who try to speak with a western accent don't know how stupid and ridiculous they sound. People don't realize how difficult it is to speak with an entirely different accent even with professional training. 3 Likes |

dominique: Yes they still watch network shows. Network TV still has the highest views and ratings because unlike cable and streaming, ITS STILL FREE. Thats why the biggest events like Super Bowl, the Oscars, Presidential inauguration are still on ABC, CBS. FOX snd NBC. 5 Likes |

This is going to be pretty great seeing as it is from the same producer of Two and Half Men. I recommend you watch Two and A Half Men if you need a show that is both funny and relaxing. I have the entire seasons on my Laptop. I've rewatched for almost 20 times and still don't get tired of it. It helps me relax after a tasking day work. I saw a blog earlier today say she was faking the Nigerian accent. Like seriously? BTW, don't let that distract you from the fact that I sell some pretty affordable GOT themed bracelet and pendant for any house you associate with. Stark, Baratheon, Targaryen, Lannister....we've got them all.
