I really enjoyed the show, to be honest, but it baffles me how Dany's character was abruptly tainted after building it up for so many seasons. I think it's unfair.

For those criticising the show, shame on you, y'all should come up with a better narrative. The story may/will still have ended the same way if it went on for another season, only that some parts may not have been rushed.

My best TV show so far.

Game of thrones, one of the most overrated shows on tv now ended in season 8 with one of poorest finale ever and with one of lowest rating ever for a tv show. All these dumb people that named their newly born daughters Khaleesi a few years ago are now truly embarrassed. Daenerys Targaryen's character arc turned her from a heroine to a mad villain faster than the speed of light. I'm happy that the show has ended, a perfect ending for an overrated show that steadily became worse as it drew its last breath.

When you squeeze in multiple plot twists and unnecessary turnaround character arcs in six episodes (something you couldn't try with 10) for the sheer purposes of shock and unpredictability rather than plausibility, GoT season 8 will be the result.

They left a lot of plotlines for some development and continuation. Like Arya's plot in the west can be developed into another series: same with Jon; same with Bran and his reign.

Infact, I think in the next couple of years, we are going to have many series born out of this Game of Thrones theme. Producers will milk it until the last drop.
