Our senior squad has 22 players. We need 3 players to make it 25 first. We have signed one, remaining two.
Who cos haven't seen/heard anything

You do the calculation of average starting 11 of United.

We are not other clubs, we work with players we have. When Inter Won in 2010, there were many young teams.
The average age of our 1st team is far from low. I stand by my earlier answer.

De Gea- 28
Young-33
Smalling-29
Lindelof-24
Shaw-23
Matic-30
Herrera-29
Pogba-26
Rashford-21
Lukaku-26
Martial-23

Do your the calculation and post the answer for all to see.

In a football team, new players win their places. We had Garry Neville, Brown and Oshea playing the right back for United in 2008/2009 when Rafael Da Silver came, Neville said he knew he had to give way. We fans all submitted that we had someone capable of taking us to the next level.Neville retired because he could not afford to sit on the bench. Brown stayed because he became a deputy right back and center back. Oshea was all weather.

Not bringing 'Stanley Okoro' to replace Mata just because Stanley is young. Let Stanley prove that Mata is no longer relevant at all.
I can’t even fathom how you know that the new signings will be a flop. Can you see the future?

We can’t stick with Young, Smalling and Matic. They need to be replaced in that starting XI with capable players.

That’s the point I’ve been trying to make since morning. Do you understand now?

It is okay compared to such names like Fernadinho (34), Silva (33), Kompany (33), Aguero (30)

One thing is that midfielders get wiser when around 30. The players that need to be young mostly are wingers and attackers. May be this is why we get inconsistency from Fred for now.

We have not said the new signing must flop. We say some might flop. If we use the past experience with Di Maria, Falcao, Mephis Depay, Sneiderline, Darmian, Blind, we can assume new signings find it hard to settle. Even Luke Shaw took years to even know his left from his right. Martial is still struggling.

Secondly, you keep talking about first eleven. Is it that you cannot differentiate between a squad and starting eleven? If you didn't understand my argument, why did you even start? Moreover, everyone should earn his place. We keep hearing sell Smalling since 2014.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro2: 6:07am On May 22, 2019
We have 22 senior players currently. There rookies like Grant Lee and Santos among the 25 senior players. So we had 20 senior players really left.

Currently we need 5 new senior quality players to fill the required space. Are you sure the club management can actually bring in new 5 quality players?

The call for a clear out doesn't even make sense anymore. We can't sell more than three at the end.

We are close to signing Daniel James who is even 21 years old. He is not even a senior player yet according to the categorisation.

Just imagine we sell Pogba after we've lost Herrera and the Two replacements we sign end up being flops( We've been a victim of this a lot in recent times ). Then next season will be disastrous.
My point.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by DeadPresidents: 7:01am On May 22, 2019
If we get a decent offer, I'll personally drive Alexis to Italy.

Sanchez's legs are gone. That's the worst possible thing that can happen to a winger.

Bale is also a disaster knocking on the corridor.

We need to make ruthless statements of intent. Any player incapable of generating interest from other top teams must be swiftly upgraded and replaced.

Selling Fellani was not a good move. The winning covered our eyes not considering moments like this. Its wiser to get the replacement for a player first and watch if he would be better. Sometimes it ends up with the "devil u know is better than the angel u don't know"

Who is this Santos? This is our25-Man squad last season. Who are the “22 senior players”?

As long as those aging horrible players-like Young- don’t make match day squad every week, we’ll be fine.

There’s no sense in keeping aged players if they have nothing to offer the team. Kompany has left, and Fernadinho’s role in the first team is reducing.

First move is to relegate them to the bench and then sell or refuse to renew their expired contract afterwards- once you get the right players in.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m):
We have many non-performing players in seeveral position.

We’ve got 3 goalkeepers, 10 defenders ( shocked) of which just 2 are okay (Shaw n Lindelof); 7 midfielders and 5 attackers.

We need to get rid of Sanchez ASAP and add 3 more attackers.

Our defenders are many and useless. Thank God Valencia is gone. Darmian and Rojo should follow him. Jokes has no business playing for Utd. He should’ve been let go but they just renewed his contract. Big mistake. Of the remaining only Lindelof and Shaw have earned themselves a starting position based on last season’s performance. Bring in a capable CB and RB to add to the defense. The rest can deputize from the bench.

Jones, Young, Smalling, shouldn’t be in the squad after next season. We’ve relied on them over the years and they’ve disappointed us massively.

The midfield already lost Herrera. Bring in 2 quality players, send Pereira to the Championship on loan and relegate Matic to the bench. He can deputize once in a while.

You just like to argue. Dalot is not a senior player. He is one of the under 21 players. Dademola quoted EPL officicial website and your are quoting AgbadoMarket website

Santos, Frederico Rodrigues De Paula is the guy I referred to.

This one is on OGS.

There’s no way Ed will want to renew Mata contract without input from the manager.

Maybe he wants him around as the blogger of the team.

Leyqute,

It is simple common sense that we don't even have up to 25 players, and until we are struggling to keep the senior players within the 25 limit, selling doesn't make sense.

You cannot know more than the coach and the board. Until be buy players to improve the senior squad above 25, no need to sell.

Manchester United are expected to name Ashley Young as club captain next season and make pogboom deputy captain in a ploy to make him stay....Can they just release Ashley young for goodness sake... OGS never learn... Why the f**k will you chain Pogba down with that,Cant we just sell that guy as it appears only his body is in Manchester and his soul is somewhere else.

Alright.

To buttress your claim that a squad of old players can make a difference in today’s game, you pulled out Inter’s squad of 2010 and listed their ages.

Who are the senior players at Man Utd now? Who is in the team squad? Answers on a post card.

We should borrow a leaf from City!... Boot out underperforming cvnts and replace them with better options, that's how you improve a team.

Why on Earth should we keep aged players who offer little or nothing, with humongous wages? Hope you are factoring they'd be older next season?

He’s not that daft. Young is about to embark on a season-long injury. De Gea will wear the captain armband on the pitch.

If Young is a core team member next season there’s no need to watch Utd’s matches. Ole will be gone in no time too.

He’ll be here next season. He can wear the armband on the pitch before he leaves- that’s if the contract situation isn’t sorted by then.

His contract his expiring this summer, in a TW that we claim we want an overhaul of these useless player, trying to give Mata an improved contract to force him to stay speak volume about the direction the club is heading too.

I keep saying it that OGS will say one thing during presser and we will be seeing another thing through his actions.

It is well.

Don’t kid yourself, lots of paper are reporting Young as our captain for next season while Pogba will be his deputy.

Either way, it’s going to be a very long season.

Captain Young grin

Or

Captain Pogba grin

They can make Tashford Deputy Captain sef. Jokers.

I was just going to say the same thing about young.
But I get belief say young go be fringe player next season.
