Of course they have their mules but are the kingpins of the trade. I know one who was a mule, gets $6,000 per successful delivery before he was arrested and jailed in Thailand and after serving he was deported to Nigeria. He went to Abuja and got immigration to issue a new passport with a different name. He is here in Nairobi, working on his visa back to Thailand to continue with trafficking as he says he needs to complete the 3 storey building he has going on in Aba.

Jokes apart.It has become a kind of tradition that it will seem as if Buhari is annihilating the whole of South East if he does that.Yorubas,Hausas and some minority tribes do it too but theirs compared to the Igbos is like a drop of water in an ocean.I have some of them as friends and they are prospective carriers in the way they talk.It is only when I read prof Ellis book on drugs that I knew how deep and far gone the Igbos are into drugs.Most of them abroad are into drugs.They mostly open shops as fronts.I know they will say one hates them but this is the truth and most of them know it.

It is more tied to the greed to make quick buck than financial options, you see a mule who successfully delivers a package and gets $3,000 on safe return back to Nigeria. This is over N1million, which is about 3 years monthly salary based on the new minimum wage and this same person is eager to do another trip.

Buhari is a failure

He's not focusing on the real issue which is the government itself, he should recover looted funds and jail the corrupt politicians. And most of all create employment, then we can look into other issues. He keeps focusing on crimes when he's not solving the cause of the crimes.

Advice your friend to quit the drug business before it's too late. They either end up behind bars or killed. When he completes the house, he'll still need more money for other things. He's not gonna be lucky always. Drug business is a dirty and deadly business I wouldn't even advice my enemy to do no matter the reward. W

He is not my friend, just that he is a fellow igbo who is squatting with someone I know. The guy is hardened as he is proud of reeling out his criminal lifestyle in Asia and believes no "good life" exists outside drug business.
