Leyqute:Degea that has rejected an improved contract recently.... The earlier they cash out on him now the better so as to avoid losing him for free.... Herrera would have been a good captain cos I look at the whole squad and can't find one single person who really plays for that shirt.... |

Apparently we have been talking to Dybala for a month now, is he the type of player that we need? We should at least get a right back to compete with Dalot and young, a left back to compete with shaw, a center back to partner lindelof, and a proper right winger. Imo we need competition across every position because the current squad are too relaxed and comfortable, comfortable enough to be demanding high wages for playing utter rubbish. Luke shaw wining the player of the year just summarized our season aptly. I seriously hope that OGS becomes more aggressive and bullish towards the players next season because it's his career on the line, so far he has said the right things like needing players with hunger and desire but he needs to be hard on these players or else he will be out of the club in months because these players have the supreme ability to switch on and off when they deemed fit. I think the board should be swift in booting out the players who are no longer interested in the club and get a replacement ASAP because the transfer market in England has a shorter duration than the rest of Europe. I agree with elampiro, as much as we wish it we can't sell half the squad and replace them with new players whom you are not sure will be good enough to replace them or better the squad in any way rather we ease them out gradually and build a good enough squad to at least challenge the best because right now we are miles away from them. |

Cech to be named Chelsea TD |

Also why are we not looking for hungry ninjas like Ziyech and even jota of wolves? If Pogba is indeed out the door then ninjas like Ruben neves should be looked at instead of a washed up bale and a koulibaly that is not interested in leaving Naples. But knowing Woody, we might end up with another marquee overpriced and overpaid flop just to show everyone that we can still attract the best. |

So they are begging Mata to extend his contract with improved terms? 31yrs old scoring 3 league goals per season, zero pace, zero physicality, blocking Greenwood and Chong’s minutes, AND they still want to improve his contract? HAS to be fake news. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by parrotibaba(m): 11:45am On May 22, 2019 |
afrodoc2:add that to the fact that they refused to give Herrera an improved contract but went ahead to give jalopy players like Jones new contracts. Is Woodward out a bit too early? Kai!! And season tickets are sold out already for next season, to watch the same sh*t over and over again. |

Dortmund just signed Hazard and Brandt but we are busy begging Swansea to sell a John Doe to us. Smh |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 1:18pm On May 22, 2019 |
slimghost:Another way to look at is that Sancho might be leaving Dortmund. We should go in for that boy. Koulibaly, Sancho, Meunier, and a couple of midfielders +\- a CF. |

wizkitvick:Pogba's soul is not elsewhere. He's torn between staying at United and moving to Madrid. When that happens, the club had to look for a way to convince him staying is the right choice. Apart from that, list players you think should be Captain and Deputy Captain of the team. E be like say una just wan dey criticize sha. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ChristoBam: 1:28pm On May 22, 2019 |
afrodoc2:Haba Sancho and koulibaly alone cost more than 200m. That would be reckless when we need to make at least 4 or 5 signings. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 1:32pm On May 22, 2019 |
The 2 midfielders can be Ndidinho and one out of Ruben Neves/Bruno Fernandes/Ndombele/Tielemans. |

parrotibaba:All these things are just easy to say than to practice. You think Ole should boot out players that wants to move? That's not how to run a club. If the club follows what most of you are saying we would end up 10th next season. The players that want to leave are actually our best players and they all want to leave at once.. Imagine a situation Degea, Pogba and Lukaku leaves this summer, then Man Utd is finished. Everyone is just saying sign players sign players. Haven't you guys learnt already. What's the probability the players we sign won't be flops? Or will find it difficult to adapt in the first season? Except from Messi and Ronaldo, there's no player you can confidently say can't be flops when they get signed. The board might have been bleeping up recently but they are not stupid. We have to keep our best players especially key players like Lukaku and Pogba. When we sign the replacements, if they perform the way we dream then we can easily ease the players that don't want to stay out.. If Pogba ends up leaving, I pray we don't end up with a midfield of Fred, Prereira and Mctominay. Cuz the replacements we sign might be so awful initially. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ChristoBam: 1:45pm On May 22, 2019 |
And to think that those saying its okay if Herrera leaves are now blaming the board for allowing Herrera to leave. That's what will happen when Pogba leaves, mark my words. We'll start cursing the board by December this year that how can they let Pogba leave and replace him with mumu signings. If I were Woodward, I'll consult with Ole and make decisions best for the club. I won't pay attention to anything the fans have to say.. If Pogba really wants to leave and he attempts to force a transfer, then he can leave. Although it'd be sad, he can leave then..But if not, the board should do everything to convince him to stay. This is a precarious time at the club. Not a time to make rash decisions. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 1:49pm On May 22, 2019 |
When i say we should release players i am not talking about Pogba. We need to try and keep Pogba, and luckily he still has some years on his contract so United still has some leverage. Pogba will play better with better midfielders around him, and he is our only true top level outfielder. De Gea's case is different as he has only 1yr left on his contract. Either he extends this summer or we sell him, otherwise he will walk for free in a year's time. When we say (or at least when i say) release players we are talking about salary vampires like Darmian, Sanchez, Rojo, Bailly, Mata, Valencia. At the end of next season we can continue the process of exorcism by releasing Young, Jones, Smalling. |

Just imagine we sell a Lukaku and make a Falcao type of signing. That's the kind of situation we might get ourselves in if we don't keep our best players this summer. Players like Sanchez, Jones, Darmiam and co, one can still sell those ones this summer cuz I can't start to imagine how a professional footballer can be much worse than those. |

afrodoc2:I don't even see the sense in keeping Mata seriously. Seriously, with the way people are calling for Pogba's head I dey fear. Go to Pogba's instagram comments and see the way people are shouting bleep out of United and Madrid fans are begging him to move to Madrid. These guys go use emotions finish the club. |

wizkitvick:I. repeat, So far Pogba remain in United, Next season will be very terrible. Do all the permutations you like about the team, but if that idiot remains, we are heading for another disastrous season. Pogba is a Virus as maintained by Mourinho. Lets keep calculating and not sell off the bad stench corrupting the team spirit and work ethics in the dressing room. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by parrotibaba(m): 2:02pm On May 22, 2019 |
ChristoBam:To the first half of your post, if a player is hell bent on leaving why hold on to him? SAF wouldn't think twice of booting any player no longer interested in playing for united out of the club. If the club continuously stick their tongues up these entitled mofos asses every season in other to retain them what do you think will happen to the rest of the squad? Apart from De gea and to some extent Pogba, none of the other players deserve the wages that they are currently earning because they are not good enough for this club. If according to reports that de gea rejected the new contract offered to him(which by the way is the umpteenth time that he's rejecting a new contract) what then do you do? Beg to wash his cars or offer him a position in the board of directors? No you cash out on him ASAP because if not, by next year he will go to psg on a free. Pogba has openly expressed interest in playing for real Madrid and he is one of the highest paid players in the world, what more could you offer him? We are not in the UCL nor are we challenging for the league so it's best you sell him off, take the money and reinvest in the squad. I'm sick and tired of this constant fear looming over this club regarding the sale of certain players and their perceived future success in other clubs, this is one of the reasons we held onto dead weights for years and lost a fair amount of time which would have been used to catch up with the likes of Liverpool and city. This club should take a stance regarding transfers and players, if you are not good enough, move on, if you are persuaded to stay but still refuse to, move on, if you are requesting for a ludicrous amount of money while being bang average, move on. As for the last part of your post, did you actually comprehend the last paragraph of my post? Because if you did, you won't have posted that. |

In another point, I heard DDG is demanding for 350k a week. for God's sake, why are we delaying offloading these guys. De gea should be sober this season for committing numerous school boy errors that cost us at the end of the season not demanding for an improved extortionate increase. Why is it that we dont know when to move people on? Sanchez, DDG, Pogba and Herrera should be the first the club should be forcing out, Herrera is gone, when are we getting rid of these other ones. We should be looking at doing a clean sweep in terms of the "Outs". 1.DDG - Reasons: I. As part of stabilising the wage structure, ii. To send warming and shock accross the squad that no one is indispensable iii. Yes he has been legendary, but his errors recently are cause for concern. He might be in decline, even if not, no wahala. Pogba. Reasons: 1. For being a virus curropting the work ethics and discipline in the squad. Ii. To stabilise our wage structure. Iii. For being shit for 80% of the season and turning up just 20% of the time. Everyone of the following players for being way below average, and have already been corrupted by the bad work ethics in the dressing room. Damian, Sanchez, mata, Young,Lingard, Jones, Smalling, Rojo. Thanks to Antonio Valencia for serving the club in a honourable way. Martial, Fred and Perrira, must shape up or shape out. Rashford need a loan to the championship to learn simple good behaviour. I will keep Matic and place him on few games.. For me we should be going for young hungry players not stars |
