elampiro2:So, it's true. You're full of yourself, you old narcissistic village priest . I don't care about your opinion on Young. The reason I'm advocating for his relegation from the first team is because he has been poor and mediocre over a long time. Shaw was half decent last season and he performed miles better than Young. I'd prefer if Dalot and a new RB fight for that position while Young Sits on the bench and DJs for the team or gets sold to eastern Africa. Elampiro, you don't know ball. Ayagayagayagayo ![]() |

MUFC Under-23s boss Ricky Sbragia has left the club. Nicky Butt will oversee a structural review of the academy this summer. - Simon Peach |

Leyqute:So people think I am full of myself? Okay, let me begin to behave like such then. I never knew. So you have dropped from Young should be sold to Young to sit on the bench? Young is good and he and Herrera are our most hardworking players. If he stays close to the box like Shaw instead of marking his flank, you will not see those supposed errors. Dalot is a premature kid who kicked us out of FA Cup against a low team, together with a calamity defending from one way Shaw. Dalot will develop no doubt. |

Leyqute:Lol. English players are usually like that. See Rooney for instance. |

mufc had 61 individual injuries this season (most in the league). Second highest was Tottenham (42). Injured players were out for 1,392 days - also the most in the league. Sánchez and Martial had five separate injuries each, with Lukaku having three #mulive [premier injuries Imagine this. |

elampiro2:We still have, Bailly, Lindelof, Dalot, Mctominay, Shaw, Lukaku, Rashford, and Matic. Fred, Pereira and Martial for me on borrowed time. If we are serious we need a lot of offloading. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 5:40pm On May 22, 2019 |
elampiro2:You should read my post again and understand what I'm saying. Ashely Young should not be starting for Man Utd. And Smalling and Matic. That's my main point. If Young can't be sold this season he should be offered to Eyimba for free next year. He'll meet his hardworking peers there. He can stay near the box there and be crossing rubbish for Mohammed and Uchechukwu Obiora. Smalling and Matic should be squad players at best. |

bolu96:Rooney started playing at the top at an early age, so no surprises there. Maguire looks like a 37 year old. Are you sure he's not using his "football age"? ![]()

Leyqute:I told someone that injuries really hampered our form at the end of the season. We lost our shape, rythmn and cohesion. Starting from Herrera's, Lingard and co. The experimentation spoilt everything. Especially the midfield |

Manchester United have reportedly been in touch with Brazilian side Fluminense over their 21-year-old striker Pedro. According to Globo Esporte, United officials have contacted the club about the young Brazilian who was a target for Real Madrid last year. |

CapitalCee:Ashley Young that will be making crosses for imaginary giraffes and palm trees. With Valencia we at least get a corner, with Young we get nothing. He has used fake pawa and pashun to confuse some people here. Even if na Sunday league football clubs sef make sense dash dem |

Leyqute:PSG want to offload Meunier and he has just 1yr left on his contract, and he would like to come to United. The reprts are that he will go for 20-25m pounds. Even if Ndidi goes for 50-60m it would be good business getting them for 70-80m combined. Nobody is buying Ndidi for more than 60m. He is an African CDM with a low profile. Mahrez is an attacking flair player and major component of an EPL winning side, Maguire is not aging but a 26yr old England international. If we adjust for football age we go see say Ndidi old pass Maguire sef. |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 6:13pm On May 22, 2019 |
afrodoc2:Yes, word on the street was that he was sacked. During that time when we had injury issues one of the U-23 lads should've slotted snugly into the first team. Do you know Ethan Galbraith? He scored 2 of the top 10 U-18 goals of the season. Seems to have decent feet for placing. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 6:18pm On May 22, 2019 |
Leyqute:That one is not even the major problem. Even at the nadir of the Mourinho era when our football was crap the under 23 team arguably played worse football. People blamed that generation of players but when he was given Mason Greenwood, Gomes, Chong, Garner et al the football was still just barely watchable. He actually coaches skill and technique out of the players. |

weedtaker:At some point the club will have to correct the current wage structure if not they may run into problems sooner than we think. Many players are currently earning much more than they deliver and are even asking for more. They can't run their socks off on the field but they want more pay. How long bro? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 6:24pm On May 22, 2019 |
We can't replace 80% of the squad, at least not in a single window. What needs to be done is expulsion in batches, like 5-6 every window and in 2 years we will be rid of all the dross. And thunda fire anyone who is asking for improved wages, cos none of them deserves it. |

Leyqute:I know Galbraith very well. I still have to see more to really conclude about him. He is a bit lightweight and small sized considering he is older than Greenwood and around Garner's age. Garner, Levitt, Traore are all ahead of him in physical development and are all around his age group. However technically Traore is the worst of the lot. It is going to be a rat race between them to see who makes it here, although Garner appears to have already been singled out for promotion. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 7:01pm On May 22, 2019 |
afrodoc2:Hopefully we can get someone competent to replace him. I hope the new guy will focus on core skills and tactics in play by the first team. That way U-23 and U-18 players can blend easily when the time to transition comes. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 7:15pm On May 22, 2019 |
afrodoc2:When I saw Galbraith, I was imagining he would grow into a role like David Silva's at City or Barca's Iniesta. He's still got a ways to go though. Maybe they singled Garner out cos of his height. I don't know. I think he's not physically ready and he looks a bit sluggish on the ball sometimes. Or maybe he's a careful and thoughtful midfielder. The coming preseason will determine who will make it into the first team. I do hope Mason Greenwood is picked for all of our Yuropa League group games. He needs that exposure. Looks like McTom will start featuring more for the first team. It's time for that step up, or he may have to go out on loan. |
