I think experience still count in this job, got a request inside Lekki gardens yesterday. Called the rider then swiped arrived immediately. Got there after 15 minutes and met one driver there so the driver told me they need two cars we for them because they delayed before coming out.

Meanwhile I was discussing with the other driver I even asked him the route he wish to take he said anyone, I convinced him it's better we take ozumba that it is longer and lesser toll fee besides the Ikoyi sometimes takes more time.

They eventually came out and we stopped at ikota complex I came to him and ask him to check his fare he was surprised when I told him he can check the fare, he did and it was #1100 mine was already #1400.

We got to airport the guy told us to wait at the car park so he can use ATM, I ended mine it was #6400 while the other driver's own was #4900.

The man asked why it is so, I told him mine is bolt executive.
grin
He paid and later gave us extra 1k each for the car park
Is urs bolt executive? grin

The recent temporary license does not carry pictures just licence number.. I am really worried now

What does the initial one look like? Is the new one an A4 paper-sized one?
You may need to put a passport on the new one & snap, I think it should work.

.

I belong to one of this ehailing whatsapp group, they keep on spamming us with message to patronize one of the indigenous local ehailing companies, sadly they are all in for the money... Any driver foolish enough to believe that they really care about you is in for a long thing. They should go build their satellite, they should go build their phones, why not even build the cars or parts that is used on the platform. How can you be claiming indigenous when all the tools used is at least 99% foreign. Honestly i get tired of the phrase patronise us we are local we have your best interest.

Glad Uber has quietly shut them up with the 3% commission, if they are truly local and care about our interest let them indigenously hit us with a 1% commission rate, then we will know that they are really here for the drivers' interest.

They even can not see the handwriting on the wall, that it is in their own collective interest to all merge together and form one strong indigenous ehailing app company that can at least give Uber/Bolt a chase for their money. Greed and Pride will not let them tow this path, until it is too late.

Indigenous ehailing companies see easy money and they are all forming saviour of the Nigerian Apps drivers.

Indigenous ko, indigo ni!

When u open shop and pay rent, if you break down ur rent not everyday u cover ur rent money.

Actually yesterday evening my earning was 7 plus, but in life never give up. If I had given up like Gentlelife50 and drive straight to strippers club, I wouldn't have seen the 5k plus trip.

That word never give up means alot.
Nobody is saying you should give up, but quit giving newbies false hope. Your voice don de come down small small ba grin. In life you just need to calm down.

I can relate. There was a morning I got a request and called rider but she didn't pick and since I had a feeling the pickup was far and either of us would cancel, I swiped arrived with the mind of canceling (wait for 3mins & then cancel). But secs later the rider called and described the best route to her place which was even longer than what Google map displayed. I spent about 50mins to get to her. I almost cried. If not for the additional #400 added for waiting time, I for lose more
