my final thoughts, keep busy while waiting. Don't put your life on hold, keep moving. I have changed jobs and moved cities in the course of this process, I know it is easier said than done for most people. Also be straight forward, keep your application simple. This thread is a goldmine and I tell people that if I direct them to this thread to DIY and they still require my assistance, they will have to pay for such services. This remains one of the most straight forward immigrant processes i have seen so far.

Not true. There is an option for those who don't live currently in Germany. Check here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/germany.html

Didibibi:
Good evening House,
Please I need guidance from someone who has lived in Germany and obtained PCC . The Info I have from them states that I must be resident in Germany to obtain the certificate. Please kindly help with the necessary procedure.

It does not qualify for FSW as it does not fall under NOC 0, A or B. You would have to switch to another profession

Mzhella:
Good morning House. Please am a silent reader. My question is on NOC. I just started my application, got to a part i was asked if my NOC started with any of the listed but mine didn't. Mine started with 65 but the options i saw are 72, 63, 70 etc. Will this affect my application in anyway? Please advise. Job title is customer care representative.

@ThePath, see below to answer your CRS score question

Scandinavian02:
Copied from Kubeir Kamal. This might be useful here.

#ExpressEntryPool #speculation #pensiveSunday

So my take::

In the short term
The scores will see very worrying high trends.
People below 445-448 should start looking at alternative options, whether PNP or ways to improve their CRS. (look at CLB10 if needed or accept that Alberta NOI if you have received it)

I say 448, with a pinch of salt. While we can say with some understanding that 450s will most definitely be seen again. It's the breach of 450 mark that is eagerly awaited.

In the long term:
I expect to see changes to the programs with certain NOCs getting priority or even nationality quotas coming into play. I see
Canadian work experience and Canadian education being allotted more weight of points or even priority in terms of the draws conducted.
Mind you this is mere speculation as of now, but there is ample reason that fuels this speculation.

Synopsis:

If you are waiting on the sidelines, well you may already be very late. Jump in the pool if you haven't already.

Others, please be more aggressive in your pursuing PNP programs and options. Different provinces including OINP will be looking to add new programs shortly. Some may be targeted towards your NOC and others towards the support from local Canadian communities and employers.

To end this post, all I can say is that if Canadian PR is your objective, then make it your absolute priority in the near future and get cracking.

If you have 3 years experience, a master degree, ielts score of 8777 and age 31, you have little to worry about. Have you simulated your CRS score? Do that. that will determine if you should worry

itamkate:
Yes, I have a Masters degree. I'm just worried about my age, 31 might bring me a lot lower on points and right now, I can't escape it.

If you read carefully that link you posted, you would see that the bank letter you provide as required by CIC is supposed to contain your average balance for the past 6 months. Most bank letters do not provide that detail and so people are advised to provide 6 months account statement to show that detail. People who use only savings accounts (not gift deeds) as POF are advised to provide 6 months bank statements as well.

nomad26:
I have not seen it stated anywhere on the official website that you must leave the money in your account for 6 months. I don't understand where people are getting this info from, read further here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html
I advise you to do extensive research on your own on the official website. Good luck.

Please has anyone evaluated NOUN certificate recently, is it true that it is no longer equivalent to a Canadian certificate by WES?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by nonen(m): 9:54pm On May 26, 2019
Please if I get ADR from Accra, does it mean that my file processing has been completed in Canada, and awaiting issuance of PPR from Accra.

If my file have been successfully accessed in Canada, why is Accra requesting Schedule A in ADR?

Thirdly, what’s the essence of the schedule A, if someone hasn’t raised a CSE and the circumstance remains the same?

Fourthly, assuming I spot an insignificant error in my application, is it necessary to make the change in the ADR or simply allow the status quo to remain?

NOUN Msc is equivalent to Canadian MSc
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by ladymarshall: 10:02pm On May 26, 2019
1. It means your file was transferred from Canada to Accra for further processing. Processing is not complete until you get PPR.

2. If above answer applies, question 2 is redundant.

3. Schedule A is usually issued to those who have visa refusal. If you declared this in your application, you will be issued this.

4. If the error is insignificant, let it be. If it significant, correct it in the ADR and raise a CSE explaining that an error was made earlier.

If you get ADR from Accra, it simply means that's your VO. "Canada" does not complete visa processing, they dispatch it to VO's some of which are in Canada.

Thanks my lady.
What if I don’t have copies of my rejection or visa refusal letters, what do I do. I stated in my application that I had some refusals already and even mentioned the reason for the refusals and the year of refusals in my application.

All the refusals were to the UK: 2007, 2015 and 2017

They used to be very slow, that at a time there was petition, but they seem to have changed, they're very fast now. Some are praying for Accra now

Gec8:
Just curious,

Why do you guys fret over finding out your application file is in Accra? I understand couples may need to undergo an interview there, but I have read uncountable PPR stories of single applicants 'crying heaven and earth' over finding out there files are in Accra. What happens in that place exactly that gives you people sleepless nights. I'd like to know.

Please enlighten me.

Hello guys please I have a question about notarizing your reference letter if you cannot get it on a letter head.

Does it matter where it it notarized? For example the company is in Nigeria and you reside in Egypt. Does it matter if it is notarized in Egypt? Or must it be where the company is?

The question might sound somehow but the person is not willing to do it and I thought I can notarize it from here myself. Thank you

Anyone please

Congrats to those who have gotten PPR and aced IELTS in this part.

Good morning house,we may have friends /colleagues who have issues with WAEC verification ;this is a simple way to do it : Ask the person to buy a WAEC scratch card, then go on WAEC website to view his result. He should then save his result in PDF format and scan to WES via Hellofax (same way certificates are sent).Importantly,he should download the WAEC verification form on his profile (via WES website) and fill same by inputting the scratch card pin/details on the form .WES will use that to verify and his WAEC will be acknowledged within few days. He needs not to pay a dime to anyone. I hope this will be helpful to someone.

Hi, please did you personally try this method? Because it is quite different from what WES specified on their website.

Were you asked to provide visa refusal letters? If no, fill the schedule A and send back. If yes, explain you do not have copies in an LOE

Sigh it is.. where did you get this information from?
WES has an equivalency tool. You can use it to check yourself.

Hi All,

Please, I need an urgent help with the question below:

My friend wants to do her ECA and the date of birth (DOB) on her WAEC is different, i.e the dob on her WAEC is 2 years younger than her real age. Though she said she saw this at the point of picking up her certificate and complained, but, the process to get it corrected seems tedious and she just ignored it.

My QUESTIONS ARE:

1. Does it really matter to WES that her DOB on the intl passport is different from that on her WAEC since WES evaluation is actually on post-secondary degrees and I would expect that they ECA report does not report age.

2. I have looked for solution too but it seems WAEC no longer corrects error on DOB since some people falsify their age. I am wondering if any one have ever used "Comparative Education Service: University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies". They are listed as one of the authorised ECA by CIC for immigration and they stated on their requirement that secondary education is optional. We are considering using them but wondering if any one here can share his/her experience with them. Also, she wants to verify her ND and HND and they require double payment of $210 for each credential and that's $420.
WES will be cheaper for us, and am wondering if NECO will do, as NECO doesn't not print DOB on the certificate.

3. Please, I will appreciate if anyone can advise us on this ASAP.
