What means of survival are available for students schooling in China?

I understand that Internships and founding a business are key ways, but how easy does one get the internship?

Also, are student jobs available as well?

Finally, i have got eyes on the M.Sc Operations and Supply Chain Management at Xian Jaotong University, and they said i must send in my application before June 30th. DOes this mean resumption time is September?

Please enlighten me guys
It means that for your to be considered for September/winter admission, the application deadline is 30th June. But there are so many other schools which their deadlines are far away.... You can contact me for more. I'm also studying for my M.Sc in mechanical engineering and automation...
Re: Nigerian Students In China by Asyvin1: 4:37am On May 27, 2019
I'm currently studying in China for my masters degree in mechanical engineering and automation. I got a contact with my school Management to recruit new students both for undergraduate and Masters degree admission. I really can't guarantee any scholarship but surely, when you have a good grade, the scholarship will definitely give you one.
Your admission is 100% safe and secure and comes out within 2 weeks after application.

I do not really understand you as a matter of fact. All applicants were meant to register on that website as well as university website before the application is deemed completed. So why are you just trying to register? CSC Scholarship has closed for now.

This document you attached is not a genuine admission notice. See a copy of what a genuine admission looks like. The stamp should have that STAR at the middle. You all should be reminded to try to use reputable representatives of Chinese University that has their base in China and Online presence. Save yourself the stress and disappointment.

Thank you Bros you're very correct. That red stamp is very important

please for those that want to legalize documents in Chinese embassy in Nigeria, make sure you have 100% genuine info before you carry your bag and travel to abj. dont waste your money.
i was there last week and felt sad for a lot of people that went there from other states, staying for days in a hotel and spending ridiculous amounts.
i made a friend there at the embassy, he is nice but you definitely have to give him small money and stuff, he an help you prepare well.
Oh, and please make sure you fill and print all your documents before reaching the embassy, because those guys that print there charge as high as 1500 to fill and print a document.
My whatsapp number is in my bio

Hmm Bros it's now 3k ooo.
Re: Nigerian Students In China by Nobody: 8:21am On May 27, 2019

info vary depending on the docs you want to legalize. and also because i cant drop another persons number online, privacy reasons.
but basically, fo police report, make sure your copy has the country you are applying for on it and also the necessary signature fro the officer you got it from. all documents must first be notarized by any notary office in any state(the photocopies, except from your police report which would be the original) and then be authenticated at the foreign affairs ministry in ABUJA, it can only be done there. as for your diploma certificates, and waec and co, you must take them to the ministry of education first before taking them to the foreign affairs. your friend in abj can help you authenticate your documents.
so basically the steps are as follows.
1) Notarize the photocopy of the documents, police report notarize the original
2) Authenticate all your school certificate(most likely form your waec) in the ministry of education in ABUJA.
3) Authenticate all documents in the ministry of foreign affairs in ABUJA.
4) visit this site http://lagos.china-consulate.org/eng/lszj/gzrz/t232419.htm and download and fill (with your computer) the authentication form
5) write a letter for the reason for your legalization, addressed to the embassy.
6) take all your documents to the embassy (Abuja only on tuesday or thursday from 3pm -5pm) for legalization.
p.s they no longer accept express service and it takes 7 days to process.
for more info... check my profile

Very true! All you wrote up there is very correct

I have been a silent reader on this thread, I finally got to Shenyang yesterday. I would love to share my timeline.

1 oct. : Admission documents arrived from China. I have to go pick up my letter personally from dhl office when they refuse to delivered it to my house on time. ( it involves tracking and the rest).

15. Oct. Visa applied for at abuja embassy ( they are more sane than Lagos), I have to take a night bus to and fro.

14. Nov. Interview at Chinese embassy abuja, I wasn't asked anything , my interviewer just confirm the authenticity of my document and account statement which I back up with a reference letter from my sponsors bank.

15 nov. Visa granted.

20. Nov. Visa to be picked up, but I was delayed a day due to the public holiday, till 21 nov before picking up my visa.

27. Nov. Depart MMIA

28. Nov. Arrived at Shenyang.

Thank you

I will update you guys as thing go,

Wow congratulations to you! May God favour you as u try to achieve your dreams in China

Be thankful bro
They might have selected people that are more qualified than you. Because considered you for another scholarship......if it is full scholarship, be thankful

Please i want DSTE to attend to this information and expatiate more on it please

Now that i have certified my Bsc, transcript and O level results at the high court, do i still need to take it to ministry of Education in abuja for another authentication Note that i will be holding JW201 form

Do i need to certify my police clearance before taking it to ministry of foreign affair for authentication?

You talk about one letter of intention, is that a new rule bro?

You also talk about form to be downloaded on their website for authentication of document in Embassy...........Please i am not cleared of this statement as we didnt do anything related to this last year..........

Meanwhile, these were the activities carried out last year;

We certified all our educational certificates at High court
We authenticated Police character form at the ministry of foreign affairs
we filled the visa form online and attached all the documents
We booked appointment for documentation,
They returned our documents to us and gave us a handbill that contain a number to book our interview
We booked interview and went there on that interview day. We did biometrics before interview and we paid 32k+ before interview
We did interview and was given a pick up form for collection

The same thing was done at Abuja last year.........

Could you please elaborate more because i cant seems to understand things anymore

Still congratulations though. Some ppl are even looking for that. Currently Chinese immigration has tightened up their policy in giving out jw202, it's easy to get an admission but for your jw202《, you must meet the requirements.. My admission officer said maximum of 2 C required for bachelors.... Most times they might luckily consider people with 3C and above. Then for masters, there should be more of A, B and few C in your transcript. China is tightening up every where.

Congratulations bro. Your chosen school awarded you a presidential scholarship maybe because they didn't have enough space for CGS. Presidential scholarship also covers full tuition, healthy care and 1500rmb per month. It's better than nothing. Receive my congratulations once again and get ready to depart to China.
