26-year-old Wura Adewura Latifat Bello, an accounting graduate from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), who has been missing since last week, has been found dead in a canal, according to her family member.

Wura who lives in Gowon Estate near Egbeda in Lagos, disappeared on her way back from work at Ikeja.

Adewura was declared missing by her parents after leaving her office in Lagos on May 15th, 2019.

This corroborates the story of a Twitter user who said she was found dead in Mosan canal area during the heavy downpour on Wednesday last week.

I’ve lived at mosan 2017 the canal isn’t that big but negligence led to her death. She should have known other roads leading to gowon estate from mosan bus stop! Anyways rip to the beautiful young lady tho!

no one is talking about her place of work,

if there wasn't pressure at work ,she would have taken another route or delayed her movement

sometimes when we are in a hurry we tell both the driver or rider to speed up so we can get to our destination

no kill yourself for another person's gain

There is more to this than meet the eye, if you know that area very well, you will know that this is just made up...mosan canal is beyond where she lives. She lives in Gowon estate egbeda..her body was found in misan canal... When it did not rain? How did the canal become flooded.

Can the family of this pretty lady sue the gov't for killing their child? I am not happy with her death...is due to negligence by the authorities

This should surely be a lesson to the living esp here in nigeria!
As a passenger,you must always be alert and caution any driver that is over-speeding or following the wrong way!
Most transport drivers are either inexperienced or reckless!
