solite3:There is nothing like rapture in the entire Bible , the passage above talks about the saints at his appearing. He shall come in the cloud and every eye shall see him.1 cor 15:51-56 ,1 Thess 4:15-17 didn't mention anything like rapture. He will come again the second time and the redeemed both dead and living will be transformed to meet with the Lord in the cloud. According to the book of Matthew 24 tribulations will come before his appearing, tis almost time for the Lord come, the stars of heaven are growing dim ,the coming of the master drawth near. The rapture is not a word of the sacred book and the book of Luke chapter 17 beginning from verse 34 talks about people been together doesn't mean they will save together. A man and woman living as husband and wife ,both are practising Christians if any of their lifestyle is not tune with what God expects from any of them. The one ready will be redeemed at second coming and the other will be left behind. The Bible book of Matthew 24 from verse 4 that we should take heed lest nobody deceive us, 7 For nations shall rise against nation,and the kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places, 8 all these are the beginning of sorrows 15, When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoso readth ,let him understand) 21, For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no ,nor ever shall be. The context that explain this writeup is in verse 22 And except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elects ( redeemed, chosen, righteous ) sake those days shall be shortened. 29 ,Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken ,30 .And then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn ,and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31, And he shall send his angels with great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds , from one end to the other ( the redeemed). Look around u and stop blaming religion or any belief system. That was never our problem., before religion came Africa had been backward.......Africa got off on a technically wrong start....While the good weather, fantastic soil, vast presence of animals, large rocks and trees was supposed to be an advantage while life began for us.It's was a sort of limiting factor for thinking and advancement....Like the saying..Necessity is the mother of invention If threr no need, there's really no need to make it or improve on it...We had it all, we lived in large trees, and under rocks... we had all the types of animals, we could afford to kill one throw it away and kill another tomorrow to eat., There was no reason to store away for winter when many of the animals would have migrated ...But the Europeans geographical location made them think more and evolved faster than us.....While all of this might see like it's in the past ....our current problem is resources managment. Did any religion tell the government not to allocate resources for research and development... Don't u see Nigerians abroad accomplishing greatness...A Nigerian was recently part of a team in Netherland that built a biosensor for antibiotic detection in blood to fight against resistance...One of the biggest drone makers in the united states is a Nigerian...Education is just a certificate end for most people here in Africa not a platform of making and inventing new things...U can blame religion all u want...There are Christians and other relegions abroad, they've always been there and that ddnt stop their advancement... |

According to the Bible the great tribulation comes before the rapture. If you read 1Thess 4:16 it describes the rapture. The first event in the rapture is the resurrection of those that died in Christ. In Rev 20:4-5 there was a description of souls who were killed for being Christians and for not worshiping the beast. Which means they were killed in the great tribulation. They were part of the first resurrection. Which means they were the first raptured. Also in Matt 24 Jesus said the great tribulation would be shortened for the elects' sake. If they had been raptured why would the great tribulation be shortened for their sake. From the op I think you are confusing God's Wrath with the great tribulation (and many Christians do). 2 Likes |

The great tribulation is coming before the rapture. Study Matthew chapter 24 properly, then study Revelation chapters 13 and 14. The reaping of the earth in chapter 14 is the rapture. Now compare the both. Shalom. |

Fantazy:I do have a copy of the Bible. But Gospel, Torah, and Psalms are not the only divinely revealed books; there are others and the general principle is the same. During the period of tribulations the World will be filled with evil to such an extent that a man will wake up a believer but turned an unbeliever before sunset. It is the period of Antichrist. Those are the tribulations: uncertainty in faith, widespread evil. While the rapture simply means end of the world. Nothing remains after it except the Lord. It is a period of destruction and preparation of the day of judgment. |

Obviously, there is no word like rapture in the Bible.But some group of people're meant to rule with Christ in heaven. The question is whom will those people rule? The Bible let us know in the book of psalm 37v 9/10 that only the humble good one will inherit the earth. so,Jesus with those people who will ascend to heaven in a spiritual bodies,will rule these humble one's here on earth. Jesus taught us to pray for God's kingdom to come and replace this human kingdom. This heavenly kingdom will bring solution to world problem. Therefore, those people who will form the cabinet of this heavenly government'ld ascend to heaven in a spiritual bodies before the great tribulation which they,God's angels with christ , will destroy all the evil and wicked people that have spoiled this world with their activities. If only you could focus on Jesus not minding what you are doing, you will receive grace to overcome that sin. I was addicted to one sin habit.
