Im glad NBS is slowly compiling the list. Nairaland is full of junk stats ranking GDP. Then we get lame arguments based on hot air from Nairalanders and politicans.

Im surprised Abuja is so high up.

Where is Lagos?
Re: States Nominal Gross Domestic Product (2013 – 2017) - PHASE II by DuBLINGreenb(m):
Wike done do am oh.
Akwa ibom is now surpassing a whole Rivers that was competing with Lagos under Amaechi that is why we shouldn't vote in politicians, thugs or tribalistic bigots but those who know what governance is about.
Imagine his excuse for not completing mono rail, for not continuing the state scholarships and even shutting down the states scholarship board entirely sacked everybody there ended the thing entirely, for disbanding Timariv, for sacking 40,000 doctors and teachers Amaechi employed? His excuses where so flimsy even his supporters know it's because of hate he has for Amaechi he transferred it to people's children who were studying medicine, engineering and economics abroad and people who were working as essential as doctors and teachers he sacked 40,000 of them because of the dislike he has for Amaechi. Rivers of blood I hope you will learn from this mistake (just Google port harcourt and beheading and see how rivers no longer has security because bad boys who thought they would guard government house were disappointed) Even salary those who manage to retain their jobs have not seen (he used it for election and to pay super eagles anytime they play in naija 20,000usd per goal when hunger they flog us, when we no fit pay school fees as Rivers sons and daughters's, ended bursary for Rivers students) so if you don't learn from this you can't learn from anything.

Damn! Africa is so poor. Japan's GDP is 2.2 times bigger than the GDP of all African countries put together. If you are still below 35 and unsure of your future in Nigeria, find a way and move out. Buhari is back again. The total amount of debt we have is more than N80 trillion naira. Even if they pass a budget of 10 trillion naira yearly for the next four years, it will still be 2 times short of our national debt.

And with this President that does not understand bigger economics and how to run a business, do not expect a miracle.

No new ministers are going to do some magic. You can't say all the outgone ministers are incompetent. They just have the wrong person as their leader.

At most, they will pass a bill to make everybody rich, but the fact is that there is no money. Companies will seek to migrate to tax havens, and work from there.

At the same time America and Australia are giving South Africans visa, they are refusing Nigerians.

Nigeria needs help.

Secretly, I pray for a sudden coup.

Four more years with Buhari, ..........,

The question is : what do we have to show for it in our region?!
Especially Abia state.
May God help us!

No. Just pointing out to that fellow that he should be more concerned that tiny Bayelsa's is dusting his state than the states he was trying to taunt. undecided
