It's better than tye Redmi 6 Pro in virtually every aspect- processor, design, cameras, aesthetics, Android version, camera2api enabled out of the box, will receive quicker updates and latest support, etc.

Please guys I have been trying to flash TWRP to my RN7, but it's not working.
At first, after flashing, I was being asked to put password (I had to wipe data to by pass this, and my phone came back as if it's a brand new phone).
I used another method of flashing, but after following the process, still it will not take me to the TWRP reboot.
Please guys in the house help me out abeg.

NB: I am using REDMI NOTE 7 (Chinese version)

Have you tried booting into twrp by using the buttons (power and volume+ together) and not by command immediately after flashing the recovery.img?

One can't come to this thread since late last month and not see insults here and there as if we can't make our points without resulting to insults...


Sometimes I would want to contribute but I realise it isn't worth it in the end.
No need to be bothered, people go ask questions and dem go get answers, nr b today we dey get distractions here, whenever the local company perceive threats, dem usually send trolls here, believe it or not, check phone section and see how their market dey fall press dem grin, d only way to survive na to send their agents to do wetin dem dey do now, e don happen before. Check the sequence, when note 4 come out, e happen, note 5 come out same thing, of course wetin u expect when note 7 drop? I only dey surprised say some persons nr understand wetin dey happen. Well, las las, as e dey always happen, even more people go end up being converted. As for those trying to outdo each other with their keyboards, either their data go soon finish, or their battery go run down, or their transformer go blow! - na joke ooo. Just relax, everything go come down as usual, e go only happen faster wen pple understand say dem nr get to reply every post. After some years, some persons go bury their heads in shame for the way dem type here, some go eat their words wink.

Personally, I will choose the Redmi 7 for the following reasons:

Android 9 out of the box
Better SOC, with a better CPU albeit same GPU
Larger screen
Widespread availability of the global version
Smaller, "dew drop" notch
Dual 4G capability
Camera2api enabled, for easy Gcam installation

Reasons to choose the Redmi 6 pro:
Gyroscope
FHD+ resolution (2280 x 1080) vs HD+
Metal build vs plastic build

They both have dedicated microSD card slots, and 4000mAH batteries (although the lower screen resolution on the Redmi 7 will favour it).

In all honesty, I don't think you can get a better value for the price of the RN7. I would have gotten one for myself if not that my Lenovo k5 pro is less than 2 months.

Can u please tell me abt ur Lenovo... Does it get uodates?

gotten alot of comment regarding my note7 inside buses nd anywhere I hold it ..they wud chk it out and say I think its tecno oo the phone is beautiful
