Today will be the last day i will drive on bolt ....imagine ICM to Apapa for 1900...price will stop reading abt 4km before the end of the trip. Once it reaches the estimated price even if u drive till tomorrow price won’t change !!!
That shit can kill someone moral, imagine from Abule Egba to Yaba JIBOWU 2hours journey with serious traffic after burning like 3k, at end of d trip I saw N1,700. Since then I no on app again. Nah so so offline trip I dey do since to make reasonable income, I cannot put a car of 3 million on road and be collecting peanuts. How do i maintain my car with their stupid and unreasonable fares. Even the riders knows that the fares are very very cheap.

Camry XLE 03. For hire purchase. You live around Ikeja, Ogba, Iju-Ishaga, Ojodu-Berger.
WhatsApp 08065900125 (Includes a down payment).

I'll advice you as a brother. This deal won't work. Infact, you'll end up making that car a lemon. A very bitter one

Because

1) No driver will want to take a Camry on higher purchase. Rental? Yes. But HP? Hmmmmm
The driver will end up not maintaining that car and you'll end up with a lemon

2) That car is an 03. Before he will finish paying you, maybe uber will increase their year model to 04 or 05.

My advice: Give it on rental. HP will not pay you

I only had about four drivers since my three years plus doing uber.... *Nairaland no get reliable drivers my others are through referral... my car sales are not even from nairaland customers.. The only thing I gain from nairaland are my engine oil sales...*

This table you are shaking might not be favourable on the long run.in the process of blowing your trumpet you might be making noise..silence is golden.you are not the 1st fleet owner neither would you be the last."empty barrels make the loudest noise" I think it's time for you to let your "female" driver handle your moniker. You don't seem to have first hand info of the reality on ground but hearsays

Whosoever that must have sold this idea of flat rate to Bolt should be hanged and shot. Almost all my trips on Sunday had issues but i decided to let it go. Got a request today while chilling in Ilupeju, called rider and he said destination was freedom way, Lekki. As we were approaching Unilag waterfront I checked fare it displayed 1k, checked again at Adekunle interchange 1k4, then again as i was on top of the bridge descending unto Osborne it jumped to 3k and we still hv like 9km to dropoff only to end trip at destination and it displayed same 3k after about close to 2hrs plus in traffic from 3mb, Osborne and ikoyi link bridge. Checked rider app and it displayed same 3k.

Also did another trip from Opebi to Ijesha and rider made me follow a longer route and app displayed 1k7. Checked with rider app and 1k7 was the fare. In view of the foregoing I think I am done driving on Bolt for now till they come back to their senses. I am ok with Uber for now.

You are highly entitled to your opinion .... Again I couldn't find good drivers on nairaland.... I don't think nairaland is the place for drivers .... And most of my car sales are not even from nairaland.. But my oil sales are from nairaland.... So let the tables shakes.. People like you can't handle the truth

Haba! This one na minor damage nah. Mine was actually fixed with 55k. Driver side was badly damaged. Na God save driver sef. Police even lied to the guy that the driver died when they showed him the picture of my accidented car. I can't imagine how much they must have milked from the guy cos he was locked up. [/quote]

And we wonder why things don't work well in Nigeria.. It's a full circle, so you can't blame uber for their business practices or quote on quote unfairness... it's a doggy dog eat world

Evening everyone, please can Lexus RX 330be used for Uber? It’s 2005. Please do advise

Yes even a Limousine can be used likewise a Corolla or Camry 2000. As long as the car has 4 doors & it is from year 2000, issa GOAL.

I think Taxiscam takes any car with at least 3 doors from 2003 tho, I'm not sure as the company is confused & confuses too

You are right. Its wrong of them not to inform their partners. I was just laughing when I was reading the message cos their scrap app can not handle the changes in fixed rate. If you drive 100km extra after the final destination or you stay in traffic for 10hrs, you will still get only the fixed rate. This will cause a lot of confusion and serious issues between the rider and drivers. I know taxify agents read our comments here, they should let them know that this will not work.

If you need to monitor your car's fuel mileage, track how much fuel you buy, how much you spend on maintenance and servicing, track how much you drive, set up reminder for service intervals etc. Get an app on play store Called Fuelio. You can record all these things and it helps you track expenses over time. The data metrics can help you detect if your fuel consumption increases significantly which can be a sign of a problem with the car.
It a great App and I recommend it. It is very useful especially for Uber drivers. You need to know how much you're making vs how much you're spending to run the car.

Yes o.
Better to use a smaller car for the very stressful & draining hustle. Pls note this is the present state, things may be better in the future LUCKILY.

IF the car is yours and you only want to drive when you are bored or when you are doing a long drive and want to set destination to get a companion who pays, you would ENJOY ride sharing
