Baztardmods: Even if you have the privilege to invite close family members, going as far to invite multitude isn't a very wise idea. As a student, you don't have that financial sufficiency to cater for their stay and other necessities. If this application is filed, its likely not going to scale through, just save time and money. Good luck! 1 Like |

k997bomb:You have roughly 61days before your college/university ask you to confirm attendance for the upcoming session. You can submit but make contingencies for Winter (January). It's risky reapplying without a gcms note to guide you. However purpose of visit is usually on the following factors; 1. Poor and Vague sop 2. Program not correlating with work experience and previous academic program. 3. Enrolling for a program lower than your last credentials. All the best.... 3 Likes |

Hi everyone My application is 8 weeks old and my resumption date was May. I received BMC mail 4 weeks ago without doing upfront medical and up till this moment no msg from CIC. I just got a new admission letter from my intended school for Winter 2020. Is it appropriate to send the new admission letter to CIC? If yes, how would I go about sending it? Or Should I wait till after the 9th week and order for GCMS to understand the delay? Scholars in the house, please kindly help with my plight |

Baztardmods: Hey mate , there is nothing wrong with inviting your brother and his family for a visit. You are not the one sponsoring them financially so I dont see why people are saying you gotta be done school. I know friends who have invited their siblings for a visit , its no biggie provided the person youre inviting is self sufficient. My advice is they package it as visit + tourism , you write them a letter saying youre inviting them to visit you . And they also write a letter of intent saying theyll be visiting you and also visiting tourist attractions and name a few. 1 Like 1 Share |

JustMellow: I disagree with this. If he's not claiming to be sponsoring them financially , his financial sufficiency is not a factor. What will determine the success or failure of the app is the situation of his sibling. if the sibling has good travel history , well paying job and a good SOA they should have no issues. 1 Like |

Hi You are only required to pay tuition if the school ask you to do so. But before you do, get yourself acquainted with their refund policy in case of visa refusal so as to avoid story that touches Kennylad90: |

Frank274: You can choose to do an upfront medical test if you so wish. You can also choose to wait until you get a request from CIC and this will only happen if you pass the eligibility stage. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by guzenaira: 11:02pm On May 31, 2019 |
Frank274: It comes it two ways; upfront and request. If you are doing paper route then you can do upfront but if it is is online, you either wait for them to request of you to do it or you go for an upfront medicals immediately you submit your application. With the way things goes, if it’s online route and you are requested of medical exams, then it means there is a probability of a potential approval. For those who may not be in the country when they may be requested for medical exams and it online application, they may do upfront medicals and later attach it with there application but that doesn’t guarantee an approval. I think medicals expire after 6 to 12months be if positive or negative result of the application. Above all, whichever way you want the medicals, a good well packaged application from the start is the key to a successful application. So sorry for the lengthy explanation, I could sense you wanted something like this since you asked about 3 pple. It will surely come out good! |
