Search through daad to see admission openings and deadlines for different schools. While some schools may require u to apply through uniassist, some do theirs directly through their website. And as for ielts, check the school u are applying to if they require it. Many schools dont even require u to present ielts score. A letter of proficiency from ur former school may be all u need..

You can try that too. I believe it would even show that you wish to go back to Nigeria after your studies (which is what they want). But ensure you take enough photos of your wedding. I heard it is necessary during the Reunion visa process.

But then, Is your Visa not still in September/October? You can still do the court stuff in June and have 3 months gap. That shouldn't be an issue. Or you can come here first, then go back after 6-12months and do the marriage. And in 6 months after that, she is gonna be with you (in your second year before you even finish school). Afterall, your initial plan was to come here and finish your school before the reunion.

Note: This is only what I heard and believe should work out but I am not liable for any decision you make grin..Lol. I only said what I have seen others do for sure. And If it worked for others, it should work for you. I was even considering the second option above but bae is coming through her own separate student visa.. wink

Thanks a lot brother.

. why not request for the student copy of your transcript, that should be enough. Take the copy to a notary public, embassy or high court to certify each page of it. That was what i did and was accepted by uniassist. i have gotten one admission waiting for 6 more. i hope it helps

Thanks bro. This was helpful

Ok thanks for the info...

That means if i apply to 5 different schools, that means my school will have to send My transcript to each schools, making it 5 transcript in total?

From their website it states that simple copies are okay for sending rather than certified copies.so please I want to confirm whether doing your discussion with the course coordinator otherwise is needed.
I discussed about certification with the course coordinator and she made me understand that I can choose to certify my documents or not. It will be accepted for application. BUT, If upon resumption, I tender any document that does not align with the uncertified copies I submitted during application, my admission will be withdrawn with immediate effect.
Check the attached pictures. She also talked about proof of English proficiency. I didn't submit any proof, just as she said.

If your transcript isn't signed and stamped then its a problem
odimbannamdi:

Thanks for your detailed response to a brother.

My transcript is not signed by our Dean. They usually dont give transcripts to individuals, so i had to sort the official that typed it to release it to me so that i can photopy, just before signing.

Would this pose a problem when i send certified copies to Uni-assist?

Good Afternoon to u all(gurus in the house)
Please I am going for my notarization at Lagos embassy on Monday and I want to know if I am to certify my two applications differently or just one since I am using Uni Assist for both application?

Another application with Haw Hamburg MSC in Renewable Energy System and among the required documents to submit is PRELIMINARY REVIEW DOCUMENTATION VORPRUFUNGSDOKUMENTATION from Uni Assist...how do I go about it and how long does it take to be ready cause I wanted to sent four different application once I'm done with the notarization on the 3rd of June.

Thanks for your quick response guys

For courses that would start next year April, applications will start from August till Jan/Feb.. So start now by going thru daad, check each shortlisted school website for application requirements and procedures and ready your documents

You need ielts for applications.. So write it before applying.. For the transcript, you need certified copies for applications, so get your original transcript from your school, make photocopies according to the amount of schools you are applying to at the embassy or Court or a notary public.

Finally, you still gat time. read up this thread from part 5.. You need it

Good morning all members of this thread, I've gone through page 1 and also searched for schools on daad.de, but I'm still confused on what to do next,
i intend applying for the course that will start next year April;
1. do i start applying for admission now.

2. How do i apply to the university, because I've been seeing something like uniassist and I'm confused.

3. Should i have my ielts before i apply for admission in the university or after I'm given admission and My university transcript how do i go about it, do i have to apply as many times as I'm applying for admission in different schools.

Please somebody help me..
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Fabcol(m): 1:05pm On Jun 01, 2019
You need just one complete set of certified documents for uniassist even if applying to 100schools

The preliminary review doc, you would get that after uniassist has successfully evaluated your documents.. Takes 4-6weeks

I really appreciate every congratulation post I got yesterday. And I know I would still say mine to everyone here. To every single winter applicant here, you would post your success story.

Someone just canceled my appointment for 29the July i mistakenly posted. God bless the person. Why are humans so wicked.

For this wicked act I say that person responsible for such will only continue to experience disappointments n every of his/her expectations will always be cut short. Except that person repent and apologize to the house.

Yes you can but first book a date on their website for certification of docs immediately...I didn’t do that when I first went there so I had to wait 10days...you should book a date immediately..
[ Can one book a date for interview without first doing documents certification at the embassy?]
