There is a major difference. If PDP had presented someone very qualified and not affiliated with the military, they would have supported him.

I can tell you for free that Ameachi is one of the best things to have come out from PH after Alfred Diette Spiff who was the first Governor of Rivers State... No doubt since he joined APC there has been many negative side of him in the news but that didn't affect his performance as a Minister... In my opinion, he is arguably the best performing Minister in this disappointing Government...

Actually Obi is wrong. That Amaechi is not from South East does not mean he cannot share his view on the political future of South East vis-a-vis
2023 project.
Obi or any other politician from the South East won't be contesting for the president of SE rather Nigerian president which Amaechi belongs to.


Saying that he's not competent enough to speak about the 2023 presidency,, because
1= He's not from SE
2=didn't deliver his state in the 2019 general election
3= did not contribute anything to the success of the election... (can someone tell Obi how Amaechi led the G-7 governors from PDP to APC)
