Deontay Wilder has sent a scathing message to Anthony Joshua, following his shocking defeat by Andy Ruiz in a fight which took place at Madison Square in New York. 

Recall we reported that the Mexican knocked out Anthony Joshua in the 7th round, to inflict his first defeat and win the IBF, WBA and WBO titles. When he was knocked down in the third round, he appeared on the verge of losing as routinely as Joshua's previous 22 opponents, but he immediately responded with two knockdowns that left Joshua fortunate to survive. Following the defeat by Andy Ruiz, Deontay Wilder who sent a scathing message to Anthony Joshua on Twitter, accused him of ducking. He tweeted; 

"He wasn't a true champion. His whole career was consisted of lies, contradictions and gifts. Facts and now we know who was running from who!!!!"

It wasnt overconfidence, it was rather underconfidence. he should have been more confident and ruthless but he was unnecesarily nice. If you watch his interview before the match you will know.

The sudden change of opponent also caused this loss. As a champ you need enough time to study your opponent...also Joshua likes dragging fights to four five rounds in other to make fans enjoy their spend before finishing off his opponents, this too backfired.
Joshua can also be too nice in the ring.. I wish him luck for the rematch. His demands just dropped with Wilder. He also doesn't appear psychologically fit for this fight.
