UniBen cultism is legendary, their reputation precedes them. I don't know about Ambrose Alli, but you shouldn't choose a school cos you don't want cultist wahala. Choose a school that you can learn in and learn well.

Yeah, some departments. Everyone has their definition of a good school. If I see uniben again, even in my dreams, I'm running. it was a horrible experience. I pray that one day, they can weed out those thrashy lecturers.
Hehehe this is your experience, one day we shall seat down and talk about it

It's safe over there as long as you maintain your lane. ( we all know no where is entirely safe in Nigeria as a whole) There is nothing to be scared of. Don't let ppl bullshit you. I also had this fear when I got my admission..The rate of crime in the North is low as to those in PH, Benue or Edo. No cultist clash like we used to hear of..well, aside the issue of insurgency over there which is not even close to Minna. I'm currently schooling in the North East (4 years now). Haven't had any issue. Just ensure you don't go into religious arguments. You will love your stay.
wow. Which University? I am in ATBU, Bauchi.

Within 5 working days. Otherwise it'll be canceled or u can call them to cancel... However if payment been made, shipment can be anywhere from 2-5 working days, and 5 - 9 days after shipment should be delivered to u in lagos.

AAU is worse, if you don't stay in ekosodin, you'll hardly encounter cultist in Uniben.

Futminna is a great school. currently running a masters program here and I feel like I didn't actually go to school for my first degree. Unlike Uniben where A is for "God", and filled with corrupt lecturers who brag about how no one in the department ever came out with a first class degree, Futminna actually rewards you for your hard work.

Apart from being boring, I recommend this school.

Talk about your department only please ... engineering isnt like that, someone even graduated with 4.9 from my set, so don't generalise.

Uniben is kinda calm now,if you choose to reside in school you could stay years without encountering any cultist

Exactly, I spent 4yrs in hostel and one year in bdpa and I never encountered any.

True that... Am thinking of that also, if I can't afford Canada, US and the UK, I will look at other good options. My cousin is currently doing his Master's in Mech. Engineering in Cyprus
